"If I was dying on my knees, you would be the one to rescue me."

*flashback*
Y/N and Juuse Sarros, two siblings in the National Hockey League, who both play for the Nashville Predators.

Juuse the older brother, protecting Y/N from anything, a broken heart, injury ect.

Y/N the younger sister, stands up to anyone trying to go after her or Juuse.

She and Juuse are only 2 years apart in age, but they always stick together. No matter what.

The two sarros siblings are inseparable, you can't keep them apart. They had all the same  classes in high school they both played hockey, the only difference was the grades.

Y/N was the one who always got the bad grades. Not necessarily bad, but had C's and D's. She always got detentions or in trouble, she always stared the fights in the family.

Juuse was the passing student, he had straight A's. He was the good student who never got a detention or in trouble. He still always protected Y/N, even when she got bullied and everything.

There's one day where everything in their lives went very wrong.

*Juuse's pov*
This was the day I absolutely dreaded. Especially as an older brother, Y/N was in a car accident, a bad accident.

It was right before our playoff series against the Capitals, she was driving to the arena and was in a head on collision with a drunk driver coming at her.

I got the information from Roman Josi right after practice. Immediately after I was given that information, I drove to the hospital.

Speeding on the high way, I knew that how fast I was going, I was destined to get pulled over by the police.

I rushed into the hospital, pushing past Filip Foresberg and Roman Josi just to get to my little sister who was in the ICU.

I walked into her room, she was so pitiful. A ventilator, a few cords and Iv's. It breaks me, my baby sister shouldn't be going through something like this, It's just not fair.

She didn't look like herself. Roman told me this happened on Sunday night, it's now Tuesday. She's been here for three days?

My lord.. Y/N my sweet, sweet baby sister. You don't deserve to struggle like this in the Intensive Care Unit, I sat next to Y/N's bedside holding her hand.

There were many ups and downs, mostly Y/N's heart rate was always changing, It scared the whole team, we thought we were gonna lose her.

Her heart kept stopping, they had to use the defibrillators to bring her heart back to its normal rate. After a week or two, Y/n's levels went back to normal.

That was a really good sign, Y/N could be waking up soon. It was now January 7th, 2024, two weeks after her accident. She started fighting the ventilator, the doctors rushed in and took it off.

I took Y/N's hand, feeling her squeeze it. I gazed at her face, seeing her blue eyes open. She whispered softly and said "Juuse.."

She smiled and after another week Y/N got to come home, I was so happy. We were all happy that she got to come home.
