Playing for a Canadian team is fun. You get to meet so many new people, I'm from Sweden so I never really got to meet anyone else.

Other then my friends on the team who are from Sweden. I played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, I was friends with Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner.

They have been so supportive and kind since I joined the team. They've assisted me with my goals and I've assisted them on theirs.

Auston said "är du redo för matchen ikväll y/n?" ("you ready for the game tonight y/n?") I said "auston I understand English and yea I'm ready for tonight."

He smirked and said "Oh yeah? Just be on the lookout for the passes from Mitch and I." I smiled and said "Alright A-Matts, I'll be ready for them."

He smiled and went back to practicing. I smiled and said "He's cute, I'm glad he's my friend." After the first season that I played in finished, I took the offseason opportunity to go to college.

I finished my first semester of college and then went to practice with the team. They were all so excited to see me again, they all said "Hey y/n! How are you?"

I said "I'm good, I missed you guys so much." They said "we missed you too, Auston missed you the most though."

I smiled, I saw Auston and said "Matthews, what's up?" He turned around and said "Y/n! I missed you so much! How are you? How's college going?"

I said "I missed you too Aus, I'm doing fine and college is going well too. I'm glad to be back here in Toronto after being in Sweden for the last few months."

I gave him a hug and went to got practice with my fellow Swedes. He said to Mitch "I think that y/n likes me." I blushed and the other Swedes noticed.

They said "the little one has a crush on the alternate captain eh?" I blushed and said "no...okay yes I do but don't tell him."

Calle Jarnkrok, my friend from Sweden said "Jag tycker att du ska berätta för honom efter träningen eller något." (I think that you should tell him after practice or something.)

I replied to him with "tänk om han inte gillar mig på det sättet? Jag kommer att känna mig generad och som en idiot."

(what if he doesn't like me that way? i'll feel embarrassed and like an idiot.) he said "Jag är ganska säker på att han gillar dig på samma sätt." (I'm pretty sure he likes you the same way.)

I said "Tack Calle." (Thank you Calle.) he said "du är välkommen y/n." (You're welcome y/n.) I smiled and went over to Auston. I said "hey Aus can I talk to you after practice?"

He said "Sure you can." I said "okay, just meet me in the locker room after practice today." He smiled and nodded.

After practice finished, I headed to the locker room and talked to Calle. I said "jag är så nervös." (I'm so nervous.) he said "var inte nervös pojke, du kommer att klara dig."

(Don't be nervous kiddo, you will be fine.) I smiled and that's when Auston came in. I said "you can do this y/n."

He said "you wanted to talk to me about something y/n?" I said "Uh yeah, I wanted to say that ever since I joined the team last year. I've been in love with you, if you don't feel the same that's totally fine."

He kissed me and said "I love you too y/n, I do feel the same way. Come on let's go home and get some rest." We smiled and headed back to his house to cuddle and sleep.
