Today was a big day for Gabe and his team. They played the Boston Bruins, My brother was Brad Marchand.

I really hoped that Gabe wouldn't fight with him. I haven't told Brad that we were dating,I just hope that he wouldn't find out.

I headed down to the Avalanche locker room and saw Gabe standing there smiling. He said "hey babe,how are you?"

I said "I'm good Gabe,how are you?" He said "I'm great because,My girl is here to watch me kick her brothers butt."

I blushed and said "Gabe you're too sweet, I love you." He kissed my forehead and said "I clove you more."

I laid my head on his chest and he had an arm around my waist. Nate came in and said "you two are so cute together."

He smiled at Nate and said "Yeah we are,But y/n you have to go to your seat love. I'll see you after the game okay?"

I said "Okay,I'll see you later then Gabe I love you." I kissed him and he smiled I headed to my seat.

The first period started and Gabe scored a goal. I celebrated my boy scoring a goal. A few minutes after that occurred,my brother Brad was giving Gabe some words.

The first period ended and the avalanche was winning 2-0. They went to the locker room and got ready for the second period.

*Gabes pov*
I'm gonna fight Brad Marchand. He said that I wasn't good enough to be with y/n, I knew that she was his little sister but he must've seen us in the locker room.

I'm gonna fight him. The second period came around and five minutes into the period we dropped the gloves.

I saw y/n in the stands after that, I headed to the penalty box for my five minute major. Brad was still going off at me,the second period ended and we were up 5-0.

Hah,That fight had nothing on me because I scored another goal. Nate came over to me and said "that was a risky move fighting Marchand,you could've gotten injured."

I said "Nate,He told I wasn't good enough for
y/n. I had to do what my gut told me." The third period came and we won 6-0.

I gave kuemper a hug as the captain and headed to the locker room. Y/n was outside the locker room and she said "Babe,why did you fight with my brother."

Gabe said "He said that I wasn't good enough for you. He must've seen us in the locker room before the game, I hope he doesn't make us break up."

*y/ns pov*
I said "Gabe, you are good enough for me. Never think anything of it. I'm gonna go talk to Brad and see what he thinks."

I left the locker room and went to go see Brad. I saw him and said "why'd you fight Gabe Brad? He didn't do anything to you."

He said "Y/n, he's not man enough for you. I rather have you date one of my teammates then one of the Avalanche players."

I said "No Brad, I'm happy with Gabe. If you can't acknowledge that then I'm going to live with Gabe."

I went to leave and he said "No wait y/n, I'm sorry. I never noticed how much you loved Gabe, I approve of your relationship with him and if he breaks your heart I'll break him."

I chuckled and said "thank you so much Brad. I'll see you tomorrow." I gave him a hug and headed back to the locker room we're gabe was.

He said "How'd it go with Brad?" I said "he approves of us dating and everything. He smiled and said "good,good now come on let's go home."

We headed home gabe took a shower and then we went to bed. I was so glad that I was his girl.
