I met Jesperi in middle school,we were best friends. He would always stand up to any bully,that's how I met him.

When I was a 7th grader he was an 8th grader.I got bullied like crazy for being smart. Everyone asked for my answers to the homework assignments.

Everyone bullied me, it got so bad that I wanted to run away. Jesperi was still my best friend and the only person that I would talk to about my problems.

One day, I didn't go to school because of how bad it was. Jesperi was worried about me, he came over and saw me crying. He said "What's wrong pretty girl?"

I said "nobody wants me here Jesp, I just feel like I'm always just a cheat sheet for people. If I don't give people answers they beat me up."

He took me into his grasp and I cried into his chest. He said "Aw y/n, I'm so sorry that this is happening to you. I hope you know that I think you belong in this world. I hope that this gets better for you."

I smiled and he kissed my head, we stayed like that for a while and he said "you wanna have a movie night with our favorite snacks?" I said "uh yeah duh."

He chuckled and I could get used to living in this town. A few weeks later it happened again, Jesperi was out of town for hockey.

I didn't know what to do, but I was going to get through this by myself. A few days passed and Jesperi came back home, I called him and said "jesp I need you here right now."

He said "yeah I'm coming what's up pretty girl?" I said "it happened again,I tried to get through it but it didn't work out so well." He said "just hang tight,I'm coming over."

He came over and we had another movie night. I started to hang out with jesperi more. We soon became inseparable.
*present day*
We were now in our junior and senior year. I was still getting bullied but Jesperi and I were inseparable. I saw Jesperi and said "Hey jesp, are you ready to go to math?"

He said "yeah! I'm gonna be sitting next to my best friend." I smiled I had a crush on him,he was one of the popular boys in school. I didn't think that he liked me back.

We headed to math,we both sat in the back of the class. We were taking notes and Jesperi said "Your handwriting is so pretty." I said "Thanks Jesperi."

I was blushing and then we had to do a quiz review for tomorrow. I started doing the math and Jesperi said "Y/n can you help me once your done with that problem?"

I said "of course Jesperi,what do you need help with?" He told me and I helped him through the problem, after that we headed to lunch.

I normally sat alone at lunch but now I sit with Jesperi and his friends. I didn't really talk much, but he always gave me compliments then I would talk.

I would only talk to Jesperi, his friends were always trying to make conversation with me but I always ignored them. I didn't fully trust them yet, but I was slowly starting to.

Prom was coming and I didn't have a date. I was walking home from school and Jesperi caught up with me. He said "Y/n.. will you be my date to prom?"  I said "of course Jesperi! I would love to be your date."

He smiled and said "good, I'll take you to dinner on the night of prom, see you later pretty girl." I blushed and said "Bye Jesperi, I'll see you later."

I walked in the front door and said "Mom I'm home!" She said "hi sweetheart how was school?"

I said "Jesperi asked me to prom! I want to confess my feelings for him but I don't know if he feels the same way." She said "Honey, every time he's came over to our house, He's made goo goo eyes at you."

"I think that head in love with you, you should do it on prom night." I smiled and said "thanks for the advice momma, I think I'll tell him on Saturday night because that's when prom is."

She smiled and I headed upstairs to do homework. I got a text from Jesperi that said "can't wait for Saturday night pretty girl! It's going to be so much fun."

I smiled and responded with "neither can I, but I have to tell you something at prom." He said "okay! Good night pretty girl, hope you sleep well." He was too sweet, I responded with "good night Jesperi."

I wanted to say "I love you" in the text but I just couldn't. I went to sleep and woke up the next morning, it was Saturday!

I was going to prom with the boy that I loved. I was really looking forward to seeing him,I was also nervous about confessing my feelings for him.

I got my dress on and he said "I'm going to be there soon gorgeous." I smiled and waited for him, he showed up at the front door and I said "Hey Jesperi!" I hugged him and he said "hey y/n you look gorgeous."

I blushed and said "thanks jesp, cmon my mom wants to take some pictures of us." He smiled and we headed to the living room to take pictures.

After that we headed to dinner, he looked so good in his tuxedo. I was so excited for tonight, we got to prom and he said "Wanna dance with me?"  I said "I would love to."

He took my hand and we started to dance. After prom was over he took me home, I said "Jesperi, can I tell you something?"

He said "go ahead pretty girl." I said "I love you, I've been in love with you since we've been in middle school. I get if you don't feel the same way about me but-"

He cut me off by kissing me, he said "does that answer your question about if I like you back or not." I said "yeah it does, I bet you waited a while to do that." He smirked and said "yeah I have, i love you so much y/n."

I said "I love you too baby,cmon let's go back to my house and sleep." He smiled and we headed back to my house and ended up falling asleep in each others arms.
