Plot-y/n benn is the youngest sibling of the Benn brothers, she met Tyler when she joined the Stars. They have been inseparable since then, but one day y/n confesses her feelings.

*Y/n's pov*
Being the baby of the Benn family is kind of fun. Your older brothers pick on you but they do it because they love you.

I was on the Dallas Stars, Jamie was the one of the assistant captain on the team and he would complain about how I didn't show up to practices sometimes.

I told him that I had work on days that we had practice. He just didn't understand, I tried so hard to get off before practice.

I said "Hey Jamie, I'm going to be a little late tomorrow because of work." He said "Just get off work early tomorrow, you'll be fine."

I said "Jamie, I can't do that. My boss will fire me if I leave early because of practice. I'm trying my best to get a schedule change on the day we don't have practice."

He said "if you don't get that schedule change then I'm gonna have to make you do extra stuff at practice or something."

I rolled my eyes and said "You know what I don't care anymore. You can play without me for the week."

I left the facility and headed home. I couldn't believe him, he knows I work on days that we have practice.

I just thought that he would be a little more supportive of me. I went upstairs to my bedroom and showered, I sat on my bed and started to cry.

After I finished my breakdown session I heard a knock on the door. I said "who could that be? I'm not expecting anyone."

I went downstairs and opened the door, I saw Tyler standing there in the rain. I said "Tyler come in,You're soaked. Here let me get you some clothes."

He said "Y/n, I'm not soaked. I'm just a little bit wet." I said "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at practice?"

He said "Practice ended an hour ago, I came to see how you were doing because of what Jamie said."

I said "Oh, I'm doing okay. It's just that Jamie could be more supportive, he knows I work on the days that we have practice."

"It's not just that, I have school too and my classes end right before practice starts, so I have to rush home change and then head straight to practice."

I started to tear up and said "I don't know if I can take it anymore. It's too much for me and I can't do it." I started to cry and Tyler took me into his arms for a hug.

He said "Y/n, Jamie's just hard on you because he's your brother. I know that you don't think that but he loves you and thats why he doing it."

He stroked my hair and said "Y/n you need to try to get your work schedule changed so that I can see you more."

I smiled and said "Thanks Ty, if it makes you happy I'm off tomorrow so I'll be able to come to practice. I just hope Jamie won't yell at me."

He said "You hungry Y/n? I was planning on going to get food but I wanted you to come with me."

I said "yeah I'm hungry I would love to get food with you." We both decided to go to a restaurant, I had ordered a glass of water.

Tyler said "You sure you don't want a glass of wine?" I said "No I'm good thank you. I don't feel like getting drunk."

We chuckled and I was apparently staring at Tyler. He said "Y/n, hey are you okay?" I spaced back into reality and said "what? oh yeah I'm fine."

He smiled and we ate our dinner. I said "Thank you for tonight Tyler I really enjoyed it." He said "Anytime girly, I'm excited to see you tomorrow."

I smiled and told him goodbye and headed upstairs to bed. I was gonna confess my feelings to him after practice.

It was the next morning and I decided to go workout before I went to breakfast. I finished my workout and headed to breakfast.

After that I just chilled at my house until I had to go to practice. I got dressed and headed to the arena. I said "Hey guys." They all said "Y/n! You're back we missed you."

I smiled and said "I missed you too." We started to practice and talk. Practice ended and I was waiting for Tyler.

I saw him and said "Ty, I need to talk to you." He said "Sure what's up?" I said "I-I don't know how to explain this but I'm in love with you."

"I have been since I first met you, whenever I joined the team I was kind of jealous of you because you were so good."

He said "I love you too y/n, when I laid my eyes on you, I thought you were better than me."

We kissed and Jamie said "Finally you two can stop making goo-goo eyes at each other."

I chuckled and I was glad to be with Tyler, let's just say I finally got my work schedule changed.
