I was on a business trip with my company, in Anaheim,California. Our boss got us tickets to the San Jose Sharks Vs. Anaheim Ducks game.

We knew that it was going to be a rivalry between the two teams. It's the California rivalry, my best friend and I headed to the game, I had a pair of earrings on, a Timo Meier Jersey and a hat.

We took our seats and waited for the game to start. Once the sharks took the ice for warm ups, my best friend said "y/n Timo is full on staring at you!"

I said "he's probably looking at someone else y/f/n." She smirked and said "no he's staring at you girl." I rolled my eyes and watched the warm ups.

The sharks ended up winning 4-1, we headed back to our hotel, b/f/n took the elevator up to the room. I said "I'm going to get food but I'll meet you up there soon."

She said okay and took the elevator up to our room. I waited for our food to show up and once it did I headed to the elevator to go up to our room.

I bumped into someone and said "I'm so sorry I was not-" I looked up and saw Timo Meier, he said "are you okay?"

I said "yeah I'm fine, I just got food for my friend and I, I decided to take the elevator up to the room."

I went on my phone and let my friend know I was coming up with the food. Timo said "nice jersey and wallpaper.." I said "oh uh I'm y/n."

He said "nice to meet you y/n, but yeah nice jersey." I said "thank you."

The elevator made some noises and I said "what's going on?" The elevator stopped moving and Timo said "the elevator broke down, so I guess we're stuck in here."

He smiled at me and said "well I guess we can get to know each other better." We spent the whole time talking, the elevator eventually started working again.

He said "Nice meeting you y/n, give me your number so we can keep in touch." I handed him my phone and he put his number in and gave me my phone back.

This had to be one of the weirdest encounters I've experienced, but it was such a great day overall.
