I was running on three hours of sleep for the past few weeks. I walked into practice and TJ said "y/n are you okay sweetheart?" I said "yeah I'm fine TJ."

He gave me a concerned look and said "are you sure?" I said "Yes TJ! I'm fine gosh now can you stop asking me questions!" His eyes got big and said "sorry, I'm just making sure you're okay."

I looked at him apologetically, he knew something was wrong. We continued on with practice and I headed home immediately, I fell asleep.

I got a call from TJ and I ignored the call, I was still asleep when I heard the front door open. I opened my eyes and said "who's there?" I heard the voice and said "Tj? Is that you?"

He said "yeah it's me y/n, are you okay? You aren't answering my calls." I said "yeah I'm fine Teej, I just needed to sleep." He said "okay I just wanted to make sure."

He smiled and left, I sighed he was a great boyfriend but sometimes I needed some time alone.

The night fell and I was heading to the game, I met up with the team. TJ said "baby, are you okay?" I said "yes Timothy I'm fine."

He said "why are you in such a pissy mood? What did I do to you?" I had tears in my eyes and said "I'm sorry TJ, I gotta go."

I left the facility with my gear and all of my stuff on, I felt terrible for yelling at him like that knowing that he's only trying to make sure I'm safe and healthy.

I sat in my car and cried for a while, I heard a knock on my window and looked to see who it was. I was met with these gorgeous blue eyes that I fell in love with as soon as we met, it was TJ.

I rolled my window down and he said "I'm sorry for yelling at you, but why are you in a bad mood? Are you crying?"

I said "I've only gotten three hours of sleep for the past few weeks. I'm sorry for yelling at you too, but I can understand why you feel like you need to break up with me."

He grabbed my face in his hand softly and said "why would I ever break up with you over something so small? I need to ask you y/n, how long has it been since you fully slept 8 hours?"

I said "3 weeks ago, I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping. I don't know why, but it's been giving me trouble."

He said "get in the passenger seat, we're going home so you can get a full 8 hours of sleep." I smiled and fell asleep on the way to the house.

Tj carried me inside and we just decided to lay down on the couch, he got me into my pajamas and he just put on sweats.

He kissed my head and we both fell asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning he said "baby, wake up I have a surprise for you." I woke up to him smiling at me and said "I love you baby." He said "I love you too."
