For the past three nights, I haven't been able to fall asleep. I don't know what's causing it but I need it to stop. I looked over at him and he was sound asleep.

I didn't want to bother him, so I decided to go on my phone. He stirred and said "y/n? Why are you up?" I said "I have to use the bathroom."

I felt bad for lying to him, I got up and went to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror, I had bags under my eyes, I looked like a mess to be honest.

Adam came up behind me and said "What's wrong baby? Why haven't you been able to sleep?"

He slipped his arms around my waist and I said "I don't know, I think it's because of my Criminal justice class. I'm just so tired and I don't know what to do."

He kissed my temple and said "Aw baby that's not good, do you want to come back to bed and see if you can fall asleep?"

I said "okay, can you cuddle me than?" He smiled and said "sure baby." We headed back to the bedroom and he put his arms around me and played with my hair.

We stayed like that for a few minutes and he said "it's not working is it? I feel so bad that you haven't gotten any sleep for the past three days."

I said "Aw it's okay Adam it's not your fault. It's my fault for taking that stupid class." He said "baby, it's a class that interests you. It's not a stupid decision, it's just how that class is."

I smiled and said "thanks for reassuring me Adam, uh this might be a weird question but can we go play board games? Maybe that will help me."

He said "sure babe anything that will help you." I smiled and headed downstairs to get some snacks ready for our game night. He said "what game should we play?"

I said "I don't know, you pick." He said "let's play monopoly or something like that." I said "okay babe, I'm gonna go get the snacks."

He smiled and I headed to the kitchen to grab them, he set up the game and I sat on the floor like a little kid. He chuckled and said "you go first sweetheart."

I smiled and we basically played games the whole night. We laughed a lot, after the last round of games I started to fall asleep. He said "come here baby."

I placed myself in his arms and he played with my hair. My eyes started to close and he kissed my forehead and said "sleep tight baby I love you." He fell asleep shortly afterwards.
