My boyfriend broke up with me before, Igor was my best friend and I told him everything. I haven't told him about this recent break up though.

I was sitting at home crying because of that, I watched Igor's game and saw him making great saves.

The Rangers won 5-1 over the Sabres, I got a text from Igor and it said "I'm coming over tonight
y/n, do you want me to get you anything?"

He was too sweet, I said "No I'm good thank you though Shesty." I figured since he was coming over, I took a shower and washed the tears away.

I changed into a t-shirt and shorts, I put on Igor's hoodie that he gave me. I sat on the couch and waited for him to come over, I heard a knock and went to answer the door.

Igor was standing there in his pregame suit, he looked so handsome. I said "Hi shesty, you look great." He smiled and said "thanks y/n, are you okay? You look like you've been crying."

I said "Yeah I'm fine." He said "Are you sure? Do you want to talk about it?" I said "no I'm not fine okay, my boyfriend broke up with me. I haven't told you because you've been so busy."

He opened his arms and said "come here y/n." I accepted his invitation for a hug, I felt safe in his arms. He said "you gotta tell me these things y/n or else I'm gonna worry about you."

We stayed like that for a while and I said "Igor you can let go of me now." He said "sorry I'm a hugger." I chuckled and said "I can tell, wanna go get food?"

He said "Y/n/n it's 11:00 at night, the only place open is Sheetz." I said "But I'm hungry, please can we go please?" I gave him puppy eyes and he said "okay fine just because your cute."

I said yay and we headed out the door, after we got back from our dinner run. Igor had to leave, I said "Goodnight Shesty, I'll see you soon." He smiled and waved as he walked out the door.

I headed upstairs to get ready for bed, I looked at my phone for a little bit and then I started to fall asleep. I woke up the next morning and saw that I had a text from Igor.

It said "hey how would you feel if I took you Disney world to get your mind off e/bf/n?" I said "Aw I would love that Igor, but aren't you supposed to be playing in the playoffs?"

He said "we got knocked out of them in the first round, but since it's the offseason I wanted to take you with me."

I said "Aw I'm sorry to hear about the playoffs but yeah I'll go thank you Shesty." He replied "okay see you soon."

I said "wait what do you mean by soon? Like tomorrow?" He said "yeah just be ready by 11am, I'm picking you up and we're heading to Disney World."

I said "oh okay, thanks for the clarification." He said "No problem, see you tomorrow morning then y/n." I said "see you tomorrow Shesty."

I put my phone down and headed downstairs to make myself breakfast. My day was filled with schoolwork and watching Television, I also took a nap in between both of those.

It was the next day and I was getting ready to go with Igor to Disney world. He picked me up and said "Hi y/n you ready to go?" I said "yep for sure."

Once we got there, we headed to the tower of terror. Igor seemed nervous about something, i said "Igor are you okay?" He said "yeah." I was worried about him.

We started going up and before the drop Igor Kissed me. He said "I love you y/n, I've waited a while to do that." I kissed him back and said "I love you too Igor."

The rest of the day was filled with hand holding and cuddling, also playing games as well and us being lovey dovey with each other.
