Lars Eller-WC

Lars and I were going on our first date, I was so nervous but really excited. I called my best friend Lauren Oshie and had her come over to help me pick out my outfit.

I said "Laur, I need you to make me look pretty." She said "you got it babe, do you have a dress picked out?" I showed her the choices and she said "I think the blue one would look good on you."

I said "okay, I'll be right back to show you." I shut the door and changed, I came out of the bedroom and she said "you look so gorgeous." I smiled and said "thank you Laur, I need to do my makeup and hair."

I put some eyeshadow, blush and mascara on, I asked Lauren to braid my hair. She patted a spot on the bed and said "Y/n you look so pretty." I smiled and said "thanks girly."

She started to do the hairstyle, she said "Lars is one lucky guy, he's gets to go out with the prettiest girl ever." I blushed and she said "done, alright girl, you're all set. Tell me how the date goes."

I said "I will Lauren, you always know I will." I hugged her and waited for Lars to come and pick me up. Twenty minutes later, he still hasn't shown up.

I said "Where the Hell is he? He probably just had to attend to a family emergency." I sat on the couch and kept waiting for him, 40 minutes later, he never showed up.

I was so mad, I headed upstairs and changed into comfortable clothes and I sat on my bed. I put my head in my hands and started to cry, I called my best friends Lauren and TJ oshie.

I said "hey, so Lars never showed up. I got dressed up for absolutely nothing." She said "Aw babe, do you want me to come over with TJ and the girls?"

I said "that would be nice, I have to talk to you about it." She said "of course, we'll be there in about 10 minutes." I smiled and said "okay, love you Laurs." She said "love you too girl, we'll be there soon."

I hung up the phone and got off of the bed, I made myself look presentable at least because Lauren was bringing her husband.

They showed up 10 minutes later, I opened the door and they walked in with the girls. I said "thank you guys so much for coming over." TJ said "no problem y/n/n, we wanna make sure that your okay."

I said "Lars never showed up, I waited an hour and then realized that he wasn't coming. That's when I changed into comfy clothes and started crying. He stood me up, I can't believe it."

TJ said "I'm going to kick his ass when I get to practice tomorrow." I said "TJ no, I don't want you to get kicked off the team for fighting your teammate. I'm glad your looking out for me though."

Lyla came over to me and said "y/n can you braid my hair?" I said "of course, come here sweetie." She got up on the Couch and I started to do her hair.

She said "Lars is a meanie for leaving you alone y/n, you're so pretty and sweet." I said "Aw thank you Lyla, your dad raised you right."TJ smiled at his Daughter and said "Girls we have to go, it's almost bedtime."

They said "Aw can't we stay a little longer!" He said "no you'll be able to see her tomorrow morning, now come on let's go home."

They frowned and I said "have your dad come over after practice and we can play okay." They said "Yay!" Lauren said "let me know if you need anything babe."

I said "thanks girly, I'm glad to have you." She hugged me and left the house with TJ. I headed upstairs to go to bed, I didn't want to go to practice but I had to.

The next morning I got up and ready for morning skate. I headed to practice and oshie said "how'd you sleep last night sweetheart?" I said "I slept okay, my brain wouldn't shut off."

He said "I'm sorry about that y/n." Lars walked in and had an apologetic look on his face. I said "Teej can you give me and Lars some time alone." He nodded and left the locker room.

I said "why the hell did you not come to my house and get me!? We had a date last night and completely forgot about it."

He said "Y/n, I had something to do, I'm really sorry." I said "it's okay Lars, I cried for a few hours last night because of it."  He said "I'm sorry."

He eyed my lips and said "May I kiss you y/n?" I said "of course Lars." We kissed and it quickly turned into a make out session. Tj walked in and said "My eyes!"

We said "oops sorry, I guess we're dating now?" Lars smiled at me and said "yeah we are babe. Come on let's go practice." I smiled at him and we headed to practice hand in hand.

I'm so happy that we confessed our feelings for each other.
