Brilliance: And, uh, on that note...

Brilliance: My crazed queen has invited us to Pellen so you guys can meet the LightWings of High Society. *grimaces*
Moon: That sounds fun!
Winter: That does sound fun.
JW minus Winter: *0.0*
Turtle: No offense, but that sounds like the opposite of fun.
Brilliance: None taken. It really isn't.
Kinkajou: Can we ignore direct summons from your queen? Glory taught me about the whole your-Queen-is-the-boss-of-you-and-cannot-be-disobeyed thing after the Darkstalker fiasco.
Brilliance: I KNOWWWWWWW UGHHHHHHH
Brilliance: Fine. *takes out the teleportation rock* Everyone grab on!

Kinkajou: WHAT
JW minus Peril: *disappears*

Brilliance: Welcome to CometFlare Square, everyone!
Kinkajou: THIS IS SO COOL!
Qibli: This market is bigger than the one in Possibility!
Some LightWing children: *curiously poking at Qibli's tail*
Qibli: *shakes his tail* Shoo! Shoo! Get off of me!
Brilliance: Haha, sorry. Anyway, it's a short flight to the palace and we still have time, so wanna poke around a bit? I'll teach you Pyrrihans all about Pellenic culture!
Kinkajou: OOO sounds fun!
Moon: I'd love to.
Turtle: Sure
Winter: Fine.
Qibli: If there's food, yes!
Brilliance: There will be food, don't worry. But, just to let you know, we are VEGANS and therefore don't eat anything from animals or just animals, period. We leave them alone and they leave us alone.
Brilliance: Actually, the queen has a goat, so we sometimes have goat milk and goat cheese. But other than that we don't bother the animals.
Kinkajou: What's first?
Brilliance: Fashion!
Qibli: Ooo!
Brilliance: Embroidered scarves are in this season, especially ones with little Napythanuts sewn onto them! Here, want one? I have A LOT of stuff to trade.
Moon: Ooo, I want one!
Kinkajou: Me too!
Qibli: So do I!
Brilliance: Great! *approaches the stand selling scarves* Hi, I'll have four embroidered scarves please.
The merchant: And what do you have to trade?
Brilliance: Five one-of-a-kind river marbles and a piece of Queen Sunshine's crystal chandelier.
The merchant: I don't want your old relics! Do have anything of actual value?
Brilliance: Two emeralds and twisted onyx rod.
The merchant: You have yourself a deal. *hands over the scarves*
Brilliance: Thanks. *dumps the emeralds and the onyx rod in his claws*
Brilliance: OK, guys, try them on! I got this green one for Qibli, the violet for you Moon, Kinkajou you get the electric blue and I got plum for myself.
Moon: Thank you so much, Bri! *kisses her*
Brilliance: *blushes* It was nothing...
Qibli: Haha, I love it!
Kinkajou: *changes her scales to match the scarf* THIS IS SO AWESOME THANKS BRILLIANCE!
Moon: By the way, who's Queen Sunshine?
Brilliance: One of our queens in history. She bought a crystal chandelier for half the royal treasury and two days later it shattered on top of her. Thus, her daughter, Afterglow, took the throne and then when SHE died her daughter Solarflare took over. *bows* And there is some of the history of the LightWing hierarchy.
Turtlejou, Qibli and Moon: *clap*
Brilliance: SO next thing. Food!
Qibli: YAS
*a little while later, in a restaurant*
Brilliance: So! Our main delicacies are... fried Napythanuts with goat cheese, clover-and-dandelion salad with acorn flour bread and Mushroom Pot.
Winter: Is that everything?
Brilliance: Technically... yes.
Qibli: I'll try the Mushroom Pot.
*later*
JW: *throwing up in the bushes*
Brilliance: YUCK THAT WAS A BAD IDEA
Qibli: Hear, hear! *retches*
Brilliance: Clean up, then it's time to meet the queen.
