Chapter 23

I think I had only uttered few words that day and the majority of those words was "wow". Because everywhere we go, as Sky and Blake had toured me was just amazing that the only word I could descript them was wow. Sipalay was just a paradise.

"Mom texted." Blake suddenly broke the silence between the three of us as we watch the sun set. "We have to go back."

"Where are we going back anyway?" Tanong ko sabay tayo sa buhangin.

"Sa main house." Sky answered with a giggle. "Magugustohan mo dun Ate Liza."

Blake rolled his eyes. "The main house is the white house in the middle." Tinuro niya ang puting mansyon sa gitna ng isla na nakita ko kanina pagdating namin. "It is also kind of the main lobby of the resort."

"Ah." Sambit ko sabay tango.

"Tara na!" Sky cried. "For sure dinner is ready kaya nagtext na si Mommy."

And with that the three of us went to the main house but with Blake and I just behind Sky because he was holding my hands. Kahit kasi anong saway ko sa kanya na wag hawakan ang kamay ko ay hindi pa din nito magawa. Feeling ko tuloy may kati-kati ang mga palad nito at ang palad ko lang ang gamot para mawala yon. He is so infuriating but also adorable at the same time because of it. Sana nga lang pagdating na andyan na mamaya sila Tita Mandy at Tito Blue ay mapigil nito ang sarili.

The main house by the way was Santorini inspired house. The main lobby of it was all white with a big chandelier that was made of shells on the ceiling and a big white christmass tree. There are so many people on the main lobby when we entered and at first I thought it was all guest of the resort but I was wrong, they are all family of Harris and Valenciano. Kasi pagpasok namin ay halos kanya kanya silang bati kay Blake at Sky.

"Hey kids! There you are." Bati sa amin ni Tita Mandy pagkakita sa amin. "I was wondering where you had been."

"Ginala lang po naming si Ate Eliza Mommy." Sagot ni Sky.

"I see." Ngumiti si Tita Mandy at bumaling sa akin. "Pinadala ko na pala sa staff ang mga gamit mo sa cottage." She informed then took something from her pocket. "This is your key and I hope you will like it."

Bago pa binigay ni Tita Mandy ang susi sa akin ay kinuha ito ni Blake na medyo kinagulat namin ni Tita Mandy.

"Blake!" Tita Mandy exclaimed.

"Damn, you really taking this rules seriously." Kunot noong sabi niya sa kanyang ina.

"Of course we have to take it seriously son." Sagot ni Tita Mandy tapos pinisil ang pisngi ni Blake. "It is for your own good." Pagkatapos nun ay umalis na si Tita Mandy.

Kinuha ko ang susi sa kamay ni Blake. "What are you talking about Blake?"

"Nothing." Sagot niya. "Tara na sa dining hall at baka maubosan tayo ng upoan."

And truth to be told, malapit na nga kaming ma ubosan ng mauupoan dahil sa halos ata lahat ng angkan ng Harris at Valenciano ay nandun sa loob ng dining hall nila. Mabuti na lang at nareserve kami ni Sky ng upoan. Hindi ko alam paano nila napagkasya ang lahat ng tao na ito pero bibilib ako sa kung sino man ang event coordinator ng Christmas reunion na ito ng dalawang pamilya.

"Hello there."

Napatingin ako sa aking katabi. The person was a guy, who was I think just the same age as of me and Blake. And I think was part of the Harris family because of the white pale skin and chestnut blond hair. The guy was cute with his boyish smirk but Blake was still cuter and more handsome than him.

"Hi." Bati ko din dito.

"Your new and you are not part of the family." Sambit nito.

Kumunot bigla noo ko. "Excuse me?"
