You are 20 years old and still living with your parents.
You just finished with sports broadcasting in college and we're ready to find work.
You live in California currently right on the beach.
You opened your eyes and rubbed them before sitting up.
You changed and ran downstairs.
Your mom was scrambling through the mail to see if there was a letter from the NFL yet.
You applied for a job there to be a reporter there, you didn't apply for a specific team.
Your mom looked at a piece of mail with a huge smile.
"What is it?!" - You
She handed you a letter... From the NFL
"Oh my god.." - You
You ripped it open and started reading.
"Congratulations, Ms. y/l/n! You have became the newest intern for the NFL. You are heading to Cincinnati for the Bengals!!! Email us for any questions you have"
"MOM!!! IM GOING TO THE BENGALS"
- You screamed
You started crying because you were so happy.
"Im so happy for you sweetheart" - Your mom
"I need to go research and call Alexa"
- You
You ran up the stairs to your room and laid on your bed.
You called Alexa (your best friend)
"ALEXA!!!" - You
"What?" - Alexa
"I'm going to Cincinnati!! I'm reporting for the Bengals" - You
"Oh my gosh!! That's amazing y/n. The Bengals are literally my favorite team! What do you do?" - Alexa
"I'm and intern, so I'll basically follow the team around, get them stuff, go to meetings, all the games, and practices. I also have to schedule things, then go to press conferences and ask other teams player's questions." - You
"You are so lucky...." - Alexa
"Why? Because I finally have a job?" - You
You laugh
"Noooo! y/n do you know who plays for the Bengals?" - Alexa
"No. I'm a Buccaneers fan." - You
"Oh my gosh y/n. Google the Bengals players." - Alexa
"Ok ok, I am" - You
"What am I supposed to see?" - You
"The quarterback!! He's so hot, literally every girl in America is in love with him."

"Is it this Joe Burrow guy?" - You
"Yes y/n" - Alexa
"He's not that good looking" - You
You roll your eyes
"Ugh, of course. You are the only girl who gets to actually hang out with him and you don't like him." - Alexa
"Shut up. It's for business only, I'm not going to fall in love with one of these guys..." - You
"Sure.." - Alexa
"Whatever Alexa" - You
"Anyways when are you leaving for Cincinnati" - Alexa
"They told me a week." - You
"That's so exciting" - Alexa
"Yeah.. it's just so far away from Cali."
- You
"I'm sure you'll make friends and end up being fine" - Alexa
"I really hope so" - You
*MEANWHILE IN CINCINNATI*
The agent that hired you is in an meeting with Zac Taylor (the head coach) and the other assistant coaches.
"We have a new intern coming on to the team." - Agent
"What's their name" - Zac
"y/n y/l/n, she's 20 years old. Fresh out of college. She needs one of the players to reach out to her so she feels welcome"
- Agent
"Okay, I'll let McPherson know to message her. He's the least intimidating out of the whole team." - Zac
They all laugh and then go back to their normal meeting.
*BACK IN CALI*
You had just gotten off the phone with Alexa and you started cleaning your room.
Because you were a intern, the Bengals had a place set up for you so you didn't have to worry about that.
Your phone started ringing.
You saw that it was from Cincinnati, Ohio so you decided to answer it.
"Hello? Is this Ms. y/l/n" - Evan
"Yes, this is her" - You
"Ok great, I'm Evan McPherson. The place kicker for the Bengals." - Evan
"Oh hi Mr. McPherson" - You
"Please, call me Evan." - Evan
"Okay.." - You
"We'll I'm calling just to tell you that the whole team and I are excited for you to be apart of our team. We can't wait for you to come to Cincinnati, and are ready to welcome when you do!" - Evan
"Thank you so much" - You
"You're welcome, have a great rest of your day!" - Evan
"You too." - You
You got off the phone.
The rest of the day went by quickly and you went to bed waiting starting the count down till the day you would be in Cincinnati.
