S2: Chapter 4 - Momma?

(Joes pov)

y/n and I were asleep in bed when I heard Sam start crying around 8 am.

I unwrapped my arms from y/n and sneakily got up from our bed.

I walked out the door and walked into Sams room.

She was crying in her crib but when she looked at me she stopped crying and smiled

"Hey Sammy" - Joe

I walked over to her crib and picked her up.

She put her little arms around my neck in attempts to hug me.

I sat down in the chair we have in her nursery

I bounced her on my legs and she laughed.

A little to loud I guess... because y/n peaked her head through the door.

"Well isn't it my two favorite people" - You

"Morning Baby, sorry for waking you" - Joe

"It's okay Joey, it was time for me to get up anyways. I have to go to the office today"
- You

She walked over to me and placed a kiss on my lips before kissing Sams head.

She was walking out of the door of the nursery but Sam started fussing.

y/n turned around.

"What's wrong Sam" - You

Sam put her arms out, signaling that she wanted y/n to take her.

y/n walked over to us and picked Sam up off my lap.

(Y/n's pov)

I took Sam and put her in her play pen while I got ready.

I was getting dressed in the bathroom of joe and mine's room.

So I'll be honest I'm not going to the office today, and I feel so bad for lying to Joe but I have to...

I'm actually auditioning to be a model for this really famous agency.

I know that if I told Joe he would have some elaborate party planned, and It would just get my hopes up because there is a possibility i might not get the job.

Plus Joe and I trying to get pregnant could put a stop to all of this.

I love being a sports assistant and I love working for the bengals but my dream is to be a model.

When Joe and I's relationship started getting serious and we started talking about how we wanted to get married and stuff I kind of lost hope for modeling.

There isn't a lot of Modeling opportunities in Cincinnati, or all of Ohio to be honest. So I knew it wouldn't work.

And it still might not, because if I do get the job I'll have to go to New York.

Leaving Joe and Sam...

But enough of my stress rant.

I put on a stylish suit and my hair In a slick bun.

I left the bathroom and went to go pick up Sam from her play pen.

She wasn't there so I figured she was downstairs with Joe.

I was right.. i walked downstairs and Joe was sitting on the couch playing video games, Sam was sitting next to him with a headset on and a tiny controller in her hand.

i cleared my throat to get his attention.

he looked up at me, his jaw slightly opened and his eyes wandering my body.
