i woke up the next morning dreading the conversation i was going to have today.

today was the day i would have to interact with the women that abandoned my sweet baby girl.

why she did. i don't know.

but i knew this would have to happen, whether i wanted it to or not.

i figured y/n would be against me talking to jenna but she told me the exact opposite.

honestly i was secretly hoping that she would tell me not to so i wouldn't have to.

but... here we are.

this morning gracie and evan picked samantha up.

at first she was fussy and didn't want to leave me but then all evan had to say was "we are gonna go see jamarr" and then she was happy to leave.

she's more obsessed with ja'marr then alexa is.

i'm literally sitting in the parking lot of the hospital stalling.

as if y/n could sense it i got a message from her

"baby🥰 - are you at the hospital yet?"

"joey❤️ - yeah, i'm currently sitting in the parking lot. i've been here for about 15 minutes."

"baby🥰 - good luck, i love you j."

"joey❤️ - you've never called me that before.. i like it 😏"

"baby🥰 - you better be holding your phone with two hands, j"

"joey❤️ - you're crazy, i'm going to go in now. love you, sunshine"

i got out of my car and walked into the hospital.

when i walked in all of my emotions were drained, this was going to be pure hell.

i slowly walked over to the front desk and recognized the girl sitting there as a friend/coworker of jenna.

"joe? why are you here?" - kassidy

"hey kassidy..." - joe

"again. why are you here?" - kassidy

"uhm, is jenna here?" - joe

"no... are you insane. of course she isn't here."

"sorry but why would she not be here? is she not working here anymore?" - joe asked

i was beyond confused right now.

"do you not know?" - kassidy

"know what? kassidy you're scaring me" - joe

"it's so much to explain right now, i'm going on break in 15 minutes. we can talk about this somewhere else." - kassidy

kassidy and i were sitting behind the hospital at a picnic table.

"so" - joe started the conversation

"i'm going to just tell you the truth" - kassidy

"jenna... she passed away" - kassidy

my mouth physically dropped, and i felt tears form in my eyes.
