we were given the signal and we walked down the stairs hand in hand.
"ladies and gentlemen introducing Mr and Mrs Burrow!" - DJ
everyone clapped and cheered and when joe and i got to the bottom of the staircase, he pulled me into him as we kissed.
when we pulled away, there were big smiles plastered on our faces.
joe took my hand and lead me to the middle of the dance floor for our first dance.
naturally our first dance song was you look so good in love. the song that we had danced to in our kitchen a countless amount of times.
my head was resting on joes chest as we danced, this was the perfect moment.
or at least i thought it was until the music cut out.
joe and i gave each other a confused look and then began to look around until the music started up again, but it sounded different.
behind joe and i there was a small stage, the curtains were closed but when the music started back up they opened up.
"oh my god" - you yelled
my hands slapped my mouth as i inadvertently stepped away from joe.
george strait was on the stage singing.
"what is happening?!" - you
i looked at joe to see him smiling at me.
"you wanna keep dancing?" - joe chuckled
i nodded as i went back into his arms, swaying again.
"joe why is george strait on that stage right now? did you do this?!" - you
"i might've pulled a few strings.." - joe grinned
"oh i love you so much!!" - you kissed joe
all the guests were in awe as they watched george perform on stage.
when the song came to an end everyone clapped, including joe and i.
george smiled at joe and i and i about fainted. i'm making eye contact with my favorite artist ever.
"congratulations guys" - george smiled at joe and i
joe took my hand and lead me to a door that went backstage.
"joe what are you doing.." - you
"you'll see" - joe
i heard footsteps and the next thing i knew i was face to face with george strait.
"i- uhm hi. it's nice to uh meet you" - you
"it's nice to meet you too. you know you gotta a real good husband don't ya" - george
"uh yeah" - you stammered
"i got a message from him over 6 months ago asking if i could come perform for his wife. he said you look so good in love was your favorite song so i happily obliged" - george
