it's day 3 of being in athens.
i haven't heard anything back from the modeling company.
right now i'm sitting in the living room at joes parents house.
joe is next to me of course, trying to give me a pep talk about not getting a call back.
"baby it's gonna be okay, you can find a different agency." - joe
i just glared at him.
he was trying, i know that. but it's not helping.
i looked at joe and he was frowning, biting the inside of his cheek while playing with the bracelets on his wrists.
he looked back to me.
"what can i do to help?" - joe asked
"i don't know" - you
"what is something i can do that will make you happy?" - joe
i just looked at him before scooting over and sitting on his lap, facing him.
i put my arms around his neck and laid my head on his shoulder.
his arms going around my waist.
"just be here. you make me feel better when you're just here" - you
"okay baby, let me know if there's anything i can do" - joe
"thank you for putting up with me. i love you"

joe chuckled
"i love you too" - joe
this morning joe and i slept in so robin and jimmy took samantha to get breakfast then go to the park.
so right now it's joe and i alone, which is amazing because that doesn't happen a lot anymore.
even though joe had his arms around my waist he was still holding his phone and texting ja'marr.
"joe" - you whisper
he was still engrossed in his phone
"joe" - you say louder
he's still texting
"joe!" - you
"yeah?" - joe asked
"can you get off your phone?" - you
"why?" - joe laughed
"you're ruining the mood" - you
"wha- nevermind, i'll put my phone down." - joe
he put his phone on the coffee table.
"my full attention is on you" - joe
"thank you" - you

it was about an hour later.
we sat there like that for at least 30 minutes.
the other 30 minutes was us just laughing at each other, making jokes, and just being in each other's presence.
after all the laughing and jokes i ended up back on joes lap, arms around his neck and literally crying into his shoulder.
he was patting my back telling me everything was going to be okay.
i was crying so much i barely heard the door open.
"hey guys!- oh my god what's wrong" - robin
