You were leaving for Cincinnati tomorrow morning.
You wouldn't have to go to work till Monday of next week, but you wanted to get your house situated.
You were packing and Alexa came over to help you pack.
There was a knock on the door and it was your bf.
He didn't know you were leaving for Cincinnati, because you know he'd get mad.
It was a toxic relationship, if you did anything he didn't want you to do he'd threaten to cheat on you or even hurt you.
You had told Alexa what he does so she walked downstairs with you to make sure he didn't try anything.
"Hey babe" - Matt
"Hey Matt.." - You
"You seem uncomfortable what's wrong"
- Matt
"I have something to tell you.." - You
"What y/n." - Matt
You walked over to the couch and sat him down.
Alexa sitting right next to you, to make sure you were safe.
"Okay what do you need to tell me" - Matt
"I'm moving... to Cincinnati" - You
"WHAT?!" - Matt
"So uhm.. I think we should break up"
- You
Matt stood up and was about to slap you but Alexa tackled him.
Your mom helped get him out of the house.
You were upstairs shaking in your bed crying as Alexa held you tight.
"Hey, I know what will cheer you up. Let's look at some of the Bengals players"
- Alexa
You wipe your eyes and laugh
"Okay.." - You
She gets up and gets your laptop.
"So which ones do you have a crush on?" - You
"The whole team.. but my two favorites are Evan McPherson and Joe burrow"
- Alexa
"Oh really?" I had a phone call with Evan earlier today. Seems like a nice guy." - You
"You talked on the phone with him?!"
- Alexa
"Yes!" - You
You laughed
"That's so cool, I'm jealous" - Alexa
"But I can't understand the Joe guy, he looks like a jerk" - You
"He's adorable, let me show you" - Alexa
She showed you compilations of Joe.
"I feel like he has 20 girls lined up to hook up with him." - You
You faked gagging.
"Yes, and I'm one of them" - Alexa
"You are so weird" - You
"Shush" - Alexa
"How about I become best friends with him and give you his number" - You
Her mouth drops and hangs open as her eyes go huge.
You laugh at her.
"So you are leaving tomorrow morning?"
- Alexa
"Yes" - You
"Gurl you need to pack!!!" - Alexa
"That's why you are here, the truck comes in 4 hours." - You
"4 HOURS?!" - Alexa
She jumps off the bed and starts putting things in boxes....
*IN CINCINNATI*
(Joes POV)
I walked into the HQ and saw Evan sitting alone on a couch
"Hey E!" - Joe
"Sup JB" - Evan
"Wyd" - Joe
"Looking at our new inters Instagram"
- Evan
"Intern?" - Joe
"Yeah come here" - Even
Evan shows me the pictures of y/n..
(He also told me her name)
I couldn't lie, she was beautiful, gorgeous even.
I knew I had to ask her out when she got to Cincinnati.
Evan noticed me staring at the pictures.
"You good bro?" - Evan
I snapped out of it
"Oh what.. uhm yeah" - Joe
"Oh I know! Joey has a crush" - Evan
5 more guys on the team acme running out of different rooms.
"WHO" - Ja'Marr
"COME ON WHO IS SHE" - Daxton
"SHOW US" - Hayden
"Guys it's the new intern" - Evan
"I don't have a crush!" - Joe
"I'm not 10" - Joe
"Do you think she's pretty" - Ja'Marr
"She's absolutely gorgeous" - Joe
That's when coach walked in.
"What is going on here?!" - Zac
"Oh uhm" - Evan
"I-" - Joe
We all froze up
"BURROW HAS A CRUSH" - Ja'Marr
"What?!" - Zac
He had a smile plastered on his face
He jumped on the couch next to Evan.
"Let me see!" - Zac
"It's the new intern Coach" - Evan
"y/n?" - Zac
I blushed just heading her name.
I'm so stupid, falling for a girl i haven't even met yet... It was dumb to think I had a chance with her, right?
*IN CALIFORNIA*
Everything was packed and on the truck.
There is a 3 hour time difference from California to Cincinnati.
It was 9:05 in California
(12:05 in Cincinnati)
The plane ride was 5 hours long so you wouldn't get to Cincinnati till around 6 pm.
You had everything planned.. you were ready to take on Cincinnati.. as an independent single women... or that's what you planned it to be.
Alexa left and you went to bed.
