"good morning mamas" - joe grinned
i opened my eyes to see joe walking into our bedroom holding a tray with breakfast on it.
samantha had herself wrapped around his leg as she sat on his foot.
"morning" - you
i leaned up and joe placed the tray on my lap.
"up" - samantha put her arms in the air
joe picked her up, knowing what her gesture meant.
"sit wit momma" - samantha
"you wanna sit with momma?" - joe
sam nodded and joe got into bed next to me, sam between us.
"how'd you sleep?" - joe
"not bad, the babies were kicking though so that was distracting" - you
"they're kicking already?!" - joe
"yeah i'm 17 weeks, that's when they start kicking" - you
"do you think i could feel it if i put my hand on your bump?" - joe
"probably. here, give me your hand" - you
joe stuck his hand out and i took it, placing it on my bump.
i felt one of the twins kick and joe did too, his face lit up and he stared at me smiling.
"what baby doin?" - samantha
"the babies are kicking" - joe told her
"like dis?" - samantha started kicking her legs
joe and i both threw our heads back in laughter.
"you're so cute" - you laughed
sam stood up on the bed and started spinning, showing off the dress that joe put her in.
"did daddy pick out your outfit?" - you
"no. me" - samantha pointed to herself
"you are lyin" - joe
joe grabbed sam and began to tickle her.
"no dada stop!" - samantha giggled
i just enjoyed watching them as i ate the breakfast joe prepared for me.
"do you think momma has two girls, a boy and a girl, or two boys in her belly?" - joe
"boys" - samantha mumbled
"we'll find out tonight" - you smiled
after they were done playing and i was done eating, joe rolled off the bed while still holding samantha.
"we're gonna leave you alone now so that you can get ready for the party" - joe
"thank you for breakfast, i love you" - you
"you're welcome, i love you too" - joe kissed you
joe retreated to the living room, leaving me some peace and quiet to get ready for the twins gender reveal.
i was wearing a flowy white dress that had little pink and blue flowers embroidered in it.
the cut was low, so i knew joe was gonna love it.
i curled my hair and waited for alexa to arrive for her to do my makeup.

i was playing video games while sam watched when the doorbell rang.
