joe and i were driving home from a day at his parents house when tee called.
"hey bro, you're on speaker in the car" - joe
"hey, i just wanted to call and apologize for what happened yesterday... i broke up with her by the way" - tee
"hey i'm sorry too, you're too good of a guy to get treated like that" - joe
"i appreciate it, y/n do you have any single friends?" - tee
"my friend maddie is single actually, i can give you her number" - you
"that would be great! seeing you and joe together makes me want a relationship so i'm looking for a good woman" - tee
"maddie is a nice girl don't worry, she works for the cincinnati reds." - you
"with tyler?! ew" - tee
"he hurt her too, that's something we bond over" - you chuckle

"okay... anyways tee can you tell coach i'm not gonna be at our meeting tonight?" - joe

"i'm gonna be out of town" - joe

joe hung up the phone as i laughed at tee calling joe sweetie.
"okay so where are you going?" - you
"well we're going on a surprise trip" - joe smiled
"where?!" - you
"well it's a surprise y/n. i kinda cant tell you"

"good thing i already packed for you" - joe
"you did what? joe how do you know what to pack me for a few days?" - you
"well 1 i'd say i know you pretty well"
