(Monday - First day)
You woke up at 4:30 am and got in the shower.
After your shower you got dressed.
You were told that you were going to be at the HQ. Not at the practice with Joe, so you felt relieved.
Just as you were thinking about Joe, you got a text from him.
"Good luck today baby! I know you'll kill it and make a great first impression! I'll go over to HQ at my lunch break 😘"
You blushed but quickly shook out of it to continue getting ready.
You put your shoes on and got in your car.
You were driving to HQ recalling the days you had had in Cincinnati.
Most of it was spent with Joe, of course.
You had never felt that way toward a guy.
You had a bad past when It came to dating, but Joe seemed to be different.
*30 MINUTES LATER*
You arrived to HQ.
You parked your car and went up in the elevator up to the floor you would be working on.
Your supervisor showed you to your office where you found a coffee with your name and a heart on it.
"Who sent this?" - You
"I don't know, it was here before I got here so it has to be someone who has access to the building. Maybe a player?" - Miranda
"Oh.." - You
You blushed recalling joes message from this morning.
You sat down and started working as you had your supervisor Miranda show you how everything works.
"Okay so your first assignment is pretty easy. It's a small interview with the quarterback"
- Miranda
"Oh.." - You said smiling
"You know who that is right?" - Miranda
"Burrow?" - You
"Yes. Okay just go down there in 5 minutes and do the interview when he walks out of practice."
- Miranda
"Okay, sounds good!" - You
*5 MINUTES LATER*
You were on your way down stairs and over to the practice fields.
The camera crew was already setting up when you got there so you knew you wouldn't be able to talk to Joe.
You stood with your back turned to the practice field locker room.
You felt arms go around your waist gently pulling you inside the locker room.
The arms let go and you turned to see.. Joe.
"Hey baby" - Joe
"Hey Joey, how was practice" - You
"Hot and sweaty" - Joe
He took your hand and took you to his mini office.
You sat down in a chair across from his desk.
He sat at his desk.
"I have to make a couple calls, but you can stay here until I have my first interview" - Joe
"Okay" - You
He leaned back in his chair, manspreading while on the phone.
It was hard not to take small glances at him.
