it's the wedding day for Zac and my mom!
they weren't having a big wedding; nothing like how big mine and Joe's were. it was just going to be at this small venue with our family, close friends, and of course the entire Bengals team.
weirdly, they both agreed that they didn't want bridesmaids and groomsmen; they found it unnecessary. That being said, all they wanted was a flower girl and ring bearer.
Sam and Lila were the flower girls because they didn't want to choose between the two, and the twins were the ring bearers.
right now I was already at the venue to help my mom get ready. Eve and Maya were also here to help.
I sorta felt bad leaving Joe at home with all four of the kids but he told me not to worry about it. even with Joe telling me not to worry, there was no way I couldn't. I'll be surprised if Joe has the kids ready when they arrive at the venue.
Maya was currently curling Mom's hair while Eve and I were getting ready ourselves.
we were just chatting as we put our makeup on when Maya politely interrupted us.
"hey, y/n.. can you take over for a second? I have to uh use the bathroom." - Maya
"yeah of course girl" - you walked over
Maya gave me a relieved smile before rushing over to the counter and grabbing her purse.
"oh my gosh, I have the same purse! it's the one I brought with me today." - you
"that's cool." - Maya awkwardly nodded before running off to the bathroom
"Is she okay?" - your mom
"I'm sure she's fine" - eve
*time skip*
my mom was completely ready and in her dress but the ceremony didn't start for another hour.
Since Eve and I were ready ourselves we decided to take a walk around the venue to check things out before checking in with Zac.
the venue was a beautiful vineyard with many walking paths and a pond outside of the barn where the ceremony was being held.
"do you think Maya is okay?" - you
"I don't know honestly, I didn't think she was acting weird at first but she's been in the bathroom for over 30 minutes now. we should check on her later." - Eve
"yeah I think so too." - you
"I mean who takes their entire purse to the bathroom with them?" - Eve
"maybe she's on her period and thought she had an accident or something? I'm sure there's an explanation." - you
"yeah maybe. we need to ask her if somethings wrong later" - eve
I nodded and we continued our walk around the vineyard before making our way back inside to find Zac.
once we found the room he was in, we walked in to see him, Harry, and Tommy already dressed and ready.
