Aziraphale woke up the next morning feeling like his old self.

Except even more happy than ever before because he was going to be a father! Aziraphale glanced down at his stomach and patted it gently. “Good morning my little one.” He murmured softly.

“Are my angels awake?” Crowley whispered as he peeked into the room, holding a breakfast tray filled with food.

“Good morning love.” Aziraphale replied as Crowley served him his breakfast. “Scrambled eggs?”

“Thought we try it since you're feeling better and now we know that this is morning sickness.”

Aziraphale nodded. Yes. Much better.

“Although I still feel a little frightened…”

“Me too…this has never happened before…”

“Not only that…but we’re going to be her parents.”

Crowley arched an eyebrow. "Her?”

Aziraphale shrugged. “I refuse to refer our baby as an it and something tells me that this Little One is going to be a girl.” Aziraphale sighed. "I must confess that despite how much I enjoyed the years we raised Warlock…I have always preferred girls to boys and I have always wanted a daughter….”

Crowley smiled lopsidedly as Aziraphale began to eat. “Although a part of me wishes that we were able to raise her in the Victorian Era…oh how I miss my Victorian Era."

“No worries angel, you have the shop and you’ve had it since then. That’s a perfect piece of that time you can share with her. Heh I’m already convinced it’s a girl.”

Aziraphale chuckled as he finished the last of his breakfast. “Well, while we are on the subject we must discuss when to tell our friends the good news.”

As Crowley cleared away the tray, Aziraphale added, “Especially Shadwell and Madame Tracy, they’ll be delighted to be godparents at last.”

“Wot?”

“Shadwell requested to be our child’s godfather should the opportunity come. And Tracy reinforced that sentiment when I talked to her about it.”

“When did this happen?” Crowley asked.

“Six years ago during our Bachelor party. You were quite drunk and so was he…”

“Ah.” Crowley murmured.
