The arrangements had already been made that Tracy would be the one to help deliver the baby. Which was fine by Crowley since he would be helping Aziraphale during the birth as well.

The only thing that was causing a stir was that the Fells were keeping the baby’s name a secret from their friends, much to the frustration of Shadwell who already knew he was going to be the godfather. The only one who knew the baby’s full name was Tracy, of course.

The Them were especially excited for the new baby. The baby was already made an honorary member of the Them and Adam had promised Crowley and Aziraphale to be a good big brother for the little girl when she arrived.

Aziraphale ran a hand through Crowley's red hair. "Crowley....." Crowley and Aziraphale were on their bed. Crowley was laying his head against Aziraphale's belly. Ever since the "incident", Crowley had been having terrible nightmares. Crowley's worse fear had been realized. His former Head Office knew about his daughter.....

"Crowley, there's no need to worry. You heard the Almighty herself."

"But they know about her Angel." Crowley rasped. "They know about her, and us.....I don't know what I'd do if they were to try....." Crowley couldn't finish the thought.

"Why, you would protect us of course." Aziraphale said matter of factly. "Which is exactly what you did when Aamon attacked me. You've saved my life many times my love."

Crowley fought through the lump in his throat as he rasped, "If any of those bastards come near you or our Eden ever again I swear I'll-"

Crowley broke off when there was a sniffle from his husband. Crowley glanced up and saw his angel's blue eyes glisten with tears.

"Angel?"

"Do you think I'll be a good father, Crowley?"

Crowley sat up as Aziraphale rubbed an arm across his face. "Angel, why would you even ask something like that? Of course you'll be a great father!"

"It's just that, when we were with the Dowlings, you were a natural with Warlock.....I wasn't at all surprised when you took the nanny position. You've always been an natural when it comes to children.....other than Warlock I don't have much experience with raising an actual child....even when I was with Warlock I wasn't involved as a "parent".....not technically anyway....."

"Angel." Crowley squeezed Aziraphale's hand.

"What if I fail Crowley?" Aziraphale rasped. "I'm terrified that something will go wrong during the birth....."

"Angel!" Crowley said sternly,  which finally got his husband's attention. Aziraphale's tear filled gaze met the reassuring serpentine gaze of Crowley’s.

"You are not a failure Aziraphale. You never have been and never will be and nothing will go wrong during the birth of our daughter. I won't allow it. You are the bravest, strongest and most ineffable angel in the entire world. And you are going to be an amazing father." As Crowley leaned forward to peck Aziraphale on the lips, Aziraphale sniffled, "You really think so?"

"I know so, love" Crowley murmured as he wiped away his husband's tears, blinking away his own.

"You're going to be a amazing father too my dear boy." Aziraphale replied softly as he quickly unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his bare stomach. "Look."

As if on cue, a tiny hand print appeared, shortly followed by the appearance of a tiny foot print.

"Wow....." Crowley rasped as fresh tears fell. "I love you both so very much." Crowley placed a hand over his daughter’s little handprint.

"We love you too Crowley." Aziraphale replied as he placed his own hands over his husband's hand.

Their troubles melted away as their tears of anxiety were replaced by tears of happiness.

"Oh blast it!" Crowley heard Aziraphale curse loudly. A couple of weeks had passed and Crowley had gotten up early to prepare breakfast so the angel could get more rest, as was the routine now ever since  Aziraphale's unexpected pregnancy. Crowley had came back upstairs to fetch his sunglasses when he heard Aziraphale cry out.

"Aziraphale?" Crowley dashed into their bedroom and saw Aziraphale holding his normal attire, his beige waistcoat and matching vest. Strangely the angel was glaring daggers at his clothes.

"Angel, what's wrong?" Crowley demanded as he rushed to his husband's side.

"My clothes don't fit me anymore! I have nothing to wear!" Aziraphale replied exasperated. "I can't go to the bookshop wearing my nightwear!" Crowley blushed, realizing that a Aziraphale was still in his undergarments. Aziraphale plopped down on the bed defeated.

"Hey, that's not the angel I know! You're supposed to be up and about making me worry! Come on now, we got ya plenty of maternity clothes for when this time came."

"It's not actually maternity clothes." Aziraphale griped. "It's just extra large clothing."

"So wot?" Crowley said. "You can't wear tiny clothes while you're carrying our Eden." Crowley knelt down and rubbed Aziraphale's belly. "I want you both to be comfortable as much as possible."

"But those clothes make me look fat." Aziraphale pouted.

"Oh shut up." Crowley snapped playfully. "You got to pick everything out and most of it is tartan. And you will never ever be fat!" Crowley kissed Aziraphale on the lips and when Aziraphale didn't reply, "Hey....." Crowley’s mouth curled into a grin.

"Oh Crowley don't." Aziraphale gently shoved Crowley away.

"I think you need to hear it. It should help soothe your bad mood, although your cute when your in a bad mood my love!"

"How very dare you!" Aziraphale scoffed, "I was a Principality and a former Archangel! I am NOT cute!"

"Key word is "was", Crowley chuckled. "But I really think you could use a song right about now. Not I Want To Break Free, but another song, a very special song....."

"Crowley, I don't need it. Eden is not even kicking so stop this right now and-"

Crowley ignored him and began to sing,

Merrily we fall out of line, out of line
I'd fall anywhere with you, I'm by your side
Swinging in the rain, humming melodies
We're not going anywhere until we freeze

I'm not afraid anymore
I'm not afraid

Forever is a long time
But I, I wouldn't mind spending it by your side

Tell me everyday I get to wake up to that smile
I wouldn't mind it at all
I wouldn't mind it at all

"Oh Crowley." Aziraphale wrapped Crowley in a fierce hug. "You're wonderful."

Crowley smirked. "It not only calms a kicking baby, but it calms stressed angels."

Aziraphale held him for so long that Crowley eventually had to say, "Feel better?" When Aziraphale nodded Crowley asked, "Why don’t we go through the maternity clothes and pick out something for you to wear, get ya all nice and handsome for the day, beautiful even, and not leave until we do, and then head downstairs for a nice big scrummy breakfast?"

"Then the bookshop?" Aziraphale asked hopefully. Crowley nodded. "Of course."

"What's for breakfast, then?"

"Leftover Chinese takeaway, just like you asked, along with the leftover sushi." Aziraphale finally rose from the bed and approached the closet. "I'm ready dear boy."
