Shadwell was left to look after the baby while Crowley gave Aziraphale a sponge bath, when that was done Aziraphale was finally laid down to rest despite his protests.

"Really you two, I'm fine." Aziraphale reassured. He smiled gratefully when Crowley held a glass of water to his lips and the angel drank eagerly, draining the whole glass within moments.

"Don't talk anymore, Angel. Just rest, I'll be right back." Crowley kissed Aziraphale on the cheek and met Shadwell and Tracy in the hallway.

"Do you still want me to stay and help you until you get settled into your new routine?" Tracy asked as Shadwell passed the baby back to the demon.

Crowley nodded. "Yes." He would need all the help he could get while he was caring for both the baby and Aziraphale.

"Crowley?" Aziraphale called weakly.

"Shadwell and I will brew some tea and fix Aziraphale something to eat, the poor thing needs his strength."

Crowley thanked Tracy and Shadwell profusely before he returned to his and Aziraphale’s bedroom.

Aziraphale was trying to push himself up with an shaky elbow,  but he fell back onto his pillow right as Crowley entered the room.

"Angel! What the hell are you doing?" Crowley rushed to the bedside and quickly examined his husband, relieved to find the angel uninjured.

"I-I wanted to know where you and Eden were.....you were gone for so long.....I was getting worried." The angel was gazing up at him and the baby imploringly.

Crowley passed Eden to Aziraphale, who pulled the baby to his chest. Aziraphale wrapped his arms around Eden hugging her close.

Crowley pecked Aziraphale and Eden each on the forehead, his amber eyes brimming with fresh tears as a soft knock on the door was heard.

"I'll he right back my loves." Crowley rasped tenderly as he got up to answer the door. Crowley opened the door and he met the warm gazes of Shadwell and Tracy. Shadwell was holding a tray with a steaming mug of tea and a plate of  what looked like a scrummy breakfast. "We made Aziraphale some scrambled eggs and toast with some chamomile tea." As Crowley accepted the tray gratefully, Tracy continued, "We'll leave you three be now. You know where to find us if you need anything."

Crowley nodded gratefully and when he returned to the bedside,  he was relieved when Aziraphale ate every bite. Although the angel held the baby the entire time. Which was fine by Crowley, he was more than happy to feed Aziraphale himself and pamper him, even propping the angel up with extra fluffy pillows. Crowley miracled the extra stuffing with a snap of his fingers as he tucked the pillows around his husband just so.

As he ate, Aziraphale ran his fingers through Eden's precious flame red hair and then her black and white tipped feathers, his heart bursting with love.

"She's so beautiful Crowley....." Aziraphale murmured as Eden snuggled into Aziraphale’s chest, as if she was soothed by the sound of his corporations heartbeat.

"Yeah." Crowley's voice cracked. "Beautiful."
