"Will we really be able to see our baby?" Aziraphale asked as Crowley helped him to lay back on the odd looking chair. Crowley had convinced him that they should get an ultrasound but the angel was still quite taken aback by the whole thing.

"Yes, and we'll find out if it's a boy or girl." Aziraphale, being quite old fashioned, had simply assumed that one didn't find out the baby's gender until the baby's birth.

"But there's a good chance that the baby could be genderless."

"Yes but I want to know for sure, angel, and I know you want to know too. The sooner we get answers the sooner we can prepare for what kind of baby we're expecting."

"You have a point my dear boy." Aziraphale smiled. The suspense was killing him….

"But what if the baby has wings or doesn't look like a baby at all?" Aziraphale squeezed Crowley's hand. "You know how humans are sometimes…."

"Don't worry angel, I have everyone here under a trance, remember? Once we leave no one will remember that we were even here."

Aziraphale sighed with relief as the doctor finally entered the room. She looked friendly despite the blank look in her eyes. But even so, Aziraphale clasped Crowley's hand tightly as the doctor began to talk with them and answer their questions.

Crowley and Aziraphale stared, dumbfounded, at the sonogram screen. The doctor excused herself politely to give the expectant parents a few minutes alone.

"Look at those little wings….." Aziraphale rasped breathlessly as Crowley hugged him tightly. Crowley meanwhile couldn't take his eyes off of the tiny little being on the sonogram screen.

"She's perfect….absolutely perfect…."
