Despite having a couple nightmares, you were still in a good mood when you woke up. You were in your brand new bed. Bucky was beside you. Sunlight was breaking through gaps in your curtains, where you hadn't closed them completely.
You sat up, wide awake and smiling as soon as you remembered you were in your new room. You decided to go and get breakfast. You carefully crawled out of bed, trying not to wake up Bucky. He was still quietly snoring.
You left your room and paused in the hallway.
"Jarvis?"
"Yes, Miss Barnes?"
"Is anyone in the kitchen?"
"Captain Rogers, Mr Wilson and Agent Barton are in the kitchen."
Steve, Sam and Clint.
"Okay, thank you." You turned to your left and started walking.
"The other way, Miss Barnes."
"Oh, right. Thanks." You remembered the rest of the way, and got there just as Steve was walking out.
"Hey Steve" you grinned.
"Hi y/n. Did you sleep well?"
"Mhm."
"That's great... Where's Bucky?"
"He's still asleep. He's in my room if you need him."
"Okay. You getting breakfast?"
"Yup."
"Good" Steve smiled. "Sam's in there, if you wanna ask him where the coco pops are. I bought some for you."
"Thanks Steve."
"No problem. I'm going to train for a bit. See you later trouble."
"Bye Steve."
He ruffled your hair before walking past. You entered the kitchen and smiled at the guys at the table.
"Hey y/n" Clint beamed. "How are you?"
"I'm good, you?"
"Yeah, I'm good, thanks."
"Sam..."
"Yeah?"
"Um... Steve said you know where the coco pops are?"
Sam grinned at you. "Mhm. I'll get you a bowl. Sit down."
"Thanks."
"So Tony said he gave you a room here" Clint stated. "Do you like it?"
"Yeah, I love it."
"Great. That means you can stay over more" Sam said.
"Well, that's up to Bucky."
"We'll persuade him."
"Yeah, or we'll just come pick you up from school ourselves so you can hang out here with us" Clint suggested.
"I honestly think Bucky may murder you" you laughed. Sam handed you your bowl. "Thanks."
"So what are you up to today?" he asked.
You shrugged as you shovelled a spoonful of coco pops into your mouth.
"You could hang out with us?"
You swallowed what was in your mouth. "It depends what you do and whether Bucky lets me. I think I'm technically still supposed to be resting."
"Well it's not like we're gonna run a marathon" Clint laughed. "We were planning on playing pranks today. It's always so funny."
"I still don't know everyone all that well, and you want me to piss them off?"
