You and Peter were sat on the floor of the living room, building the Lego set you'd bought for him. Bucky and Nat were sat on the couch, cuddling as they supervised you. It was rather peaceful, sitting quietly like that for a while.

"Wilson, get back here!"

"I'm gonna kill you Barton!"

Sam and Clint ran into the room. Clint jumped on the couch and dived behind it while Sam turned to slam the door. It was pointless as seconds later it was blasted off it's hinges. Sam turned and ran.

Tony flew in. He was wearing his Iron Man suit, except it wasn't the usual red colour. It was hot pink with neon green and orange flowers all over it. As he went past, you saw the Peppa Pig magnets stuck to his ass. Thor was following close behind him, carrying Mjölnir covered in pink glitter to match the suit. They were out the room moments later, chasing after Sam.

"Well, don't they look pretty" Bucky laughed.

"I'm sure that's going to be an interesting story to hear about later" Natasha said.

"Sam knocked over our lego" Peter frowned.

"He broke a few pieces" you added.

"Oh, do you need help fixing it, sweetie? Bucky, go and help them" Nat instructed.

"Excuse me?"

"Bucky's not allowed to play with legos" you mumbled as you started sticking pieces back together.

"Why? Is he bad at it?"

"You can't be bad at Lego" Peter stated.

"Then what is it?"

"It is so stupid" Bucky chuckled.

"What?"

"He's old" you shrugged. You glanced at Peter and you both had to try hiding your smiles.

Nat looked confused. Bucky leaned towards you and grabbed the box from beside you. He pointed to the corner of it, where it read '3-99'. Natasha started laughing.

"I haven't been allowed to touch a Lego since I turned a hundred- oh that sounds so gross. I'm a hundred years old."

"Don't worry baby. You don't look a day over twenty."

"Really, doll?"

She smiled at him for a second and kissed him. "Not a day over thirty." She quickly kissed him before he could say anything. Bucky sat back with a frown. Nat had a mischievous grin on her face as she grabbed Bucky's jumper and pulled him back towards him.

"Ew" you and Peter simultaneously remarked.

Bucky looked at the pair of you.

"You wanna know how gross you are? I will show you how gross you are, Buck." You turned to Peter and grabbed his t-shirt. You lay down on the floor, pulling him on top of you. You squealed with laughter as he pressed his face into the side of your neck. From Bucky's point of view, it looked like he was kissing you. Of course, he was only pretending.

"No, no, no, no, no! No!" Bucky cried. He stood up and marched over to you, evading Nat's hands trying to hold him back. He grabbed Peter first and tossed him onto the nearest couch. Then he went back down for you. You simply laughed as he scooped you up in his arms.

"Mind the Lego" you giggled as he carried you over it. He sat you down next to Nat before sitting down on the other side of you. You rolled your eyes and tried to get up but Bucky pushed you back against the cushions and grabbed your hand.

"Don't make me sit on you" he threatened.

Clint popped up from behind the couch. "Aren't you guys a cute little family?" He instantly had to duck, dodging Bucky's fist.

"God, you can't just jump out like that!" Bucky complained. When Clint had appeared, you'd flinched and grabbed Bucky's hand. Now, embarrassed, you were biting your fingernails. Bucky took your hand so you'd stop. He squeezed it comfortingly.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you guys. Just hiding from Stark and Thor" Clint said as he walked over to sit down on one of the other couches.

"Sam's totally gonna get you back for that" Nat warned him.

"Yeah I know. Guess I better watch my back... you guys playing legos?"

Peter nodded.

"I should bring Cooper over some time. He's about your age, you could all play together."

"You should bring all the kids" Nat suggested. "And Laura. Invite everyone over for dinner soon, it's been so long. Oh, I miss my little Lila."

"Really? I didn't know you were a big fan of kids" Bucky commented.

"Oh, kids are so cute. Especially Clint's. Babies are just so adorable."

"Wow, it really has been so long. They're barely babies any more" Clint laughed. "Nate's an annoying little toddler now."

"Annoying toddlers are still better than grumpy, moody teenagers" Bucky joked. You frowned and elbowed him in the stomach. "See what I mean?" He caught your arm before you could do it again. "Enjoy it while it lasts, Barton."

"I'll try... I should probably get going before one of the guys come back to find me. I'll catch you later."

Everyone said goodbye as he left the room. Peter returned to building his Lego.

"Bucky-"

"If you behave."

You smiled and moved from the couch back to the floor next to Peter to help him. He kissed you on the cheek once you'd sat down next to him. You looked up at Bucky with a guilty grin on your face. He rolled his eyes but couldn't help smiling at you. He put his arm around Natasha and once again they sat in each others arms, watching you and Peter having fun together.

"Hey, baby" Natasha whispered.

"Mm?"

"Do you want kids?"

Bucky looked at her, tilting his head curiously. "Do you?"

"Uh, I asked first."

"I don't know." Bucky glanced at you, but still kept his voice so lowered so you couldn't hear him as you chatted with Peter. "I mean, I did the whole kid thing with y/n. And I loved it. I loved looking after her and if I could do it again... I would never say no." He refaced Natasha. "What about you?"

"I... I can't have kids."

"I know, doll. But would you want them?" Bucky continued when she didn't answer straight away: "Because there are other options, so don't feel like you can never try if you ever want to."

Her smile grew as she looked into Bucky's eyes. "I've thought about it... with the right person."

He smiled back and kissed her. "I love you, doll."

"I love you, too."
