*Monday*
Bucky parked in the car park at your school.
"Kay bye."
Bucky pressed a button, locking your car door. You frowned at him.
"Number one rule, go."
You rolled your eyes. "No friends over."
"Good. What do you do if you have a problem?"
"Call May."
"Mhm. And what is the money I gave you for?"
"Emergency supplies only."
"Which are?"
"Groceries and toiletries."
"Okay. I think you're all good" Bucky smiled. "If everything goes to plan, I'll be back by Saturday night at the latest. Stay out of trouble."
"Mhm."
"Alright. Get out of my car."
Bucky unlocked the door. You looked at the handle but didn't move.
"Y/n?"
You faced Bucky. You leaned over suddenly and hugged him tightly, startling him a little. "Please be careful."
Bucky smiled and hugged you back. "Of course."
"You promise?"
"I promise. Now hurry up, you're gonna be late."
"Okay. Bye!"
You got out the car. Bucky watched you run up to Peter, Ned and MJ who had been waiting for you at the top of the stairs. You began to talk, but didn't move towards the school.
Bucky started the car and drove out the parking space. He drove up the road next to you and stopped as he rolled down the window.
"Bye y/n! Have a good day at school! I love you!" He shouted as loudly as he could manage.
You had your back facing him. Bucky couldn't see the smile disappear off your face or your eyes widen with shock, but he could see your friends laughing at your reaction, which was good enough for him. He smiled to himself and drove off.
You looked back over your shoulder with a look of pure disgust. You saw people around you snickering and pointing at you. You groaned and faced Peter, pushing your face into his tshirt as he laughed at you too.
"I'm so glad he's going" you mumbled.
"Oh you don't mean that."
"That was so embarrassing!" you moaned.
Peter put his arm around you and the four of you started walking into school.
"I think it was sweet. Your brother loves you" Ned beamed.
"No, that was definitely embarrassing" MJ smirked.
"Agreed" Peter chuckled.
"It's not funny" you argued. "Stop laughing at me!"
"Sorry" Peter grinned.
*Tuesday*
"So I forgot to ask earlier... how was your first night on your own?" Peter asked as you walked to the cafeteria.
"Oh it was great. I love having no rules."
"You do have rules" Peter reminded you.
"I love having no one around to enforce the rules" you corrected yourself.
