It was lunchtime and you were hungry. You were looking for Bucky because he'd told you that he'd cook for you. You quickly gave up looking on your own and asked Jarvis for help. Apparently, Bucky was in the garage. You were worried what he was doing near the cars. You knew you were probably just being paranoid, but you still ran down there to see him.

You got to the door but Bucky didn't notice you arrive. Neither did Steve, whom he was with.

"And make sure y/n doesn't find out about this."

You slowly backed up outside the doorway, listening in from the other side of the door.

"Don't you think she should know about this?" You heard Steve ask.

"Yeah, of course. There's no way she won't find out, but I want to be the one to tell her. That's why you need to make sure you're careful when you get home."

"Yeah, I'll tell the guys not to say anything."

"Thanks. I don't know how she's going to take this."

You spun around suddenly as you heard footsteps approaching. It was Tony, Thor and Sam, all with their arms full.

"Hello y/n" Thor beamed.

"Hi guys" you replied. "What's with the empty boxes?"

"Oh, we're on the way to your old place" Sam grinned.

"Yeah, we're gonna pack you up so you can move in here" Tony added. "See you in a bit, honey."

They walked past. You heard them talking to Bucky and Steve, but you ignored them as you thought about what you'd just been told.

You were moving. They were packing up the apartment. The place you'd called home for almost six years. All of a sudden, you were going to live somewhere else and you didn't get a say. You didn't even get warning. They were doing it without you.

Two minutes later, the sound of the car starting brought you back to reality. It drove off and you heard footsteps.

You sprinted off.

You weren't in the mood to talk to Bucky. You didn't know how you felt, but you knew you were mad, at least. He was trying to keep it a secret from you. That wasn't fair. You ran off back to your room for privacy.

Unfortunately, there was a knock at the door not too long later. Of course, he'd come to find you.

"Hey" Bucky smiled as he opened the door. He kept his hand on the handle as he stood in the doorway. "You wanna come down to the kitchen for lunch?"

"I'm not hungry" you mumbled.

"You were when you asked me for food an hour ago ... are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I want privacy."

"Oh... well come find me if you need me." Bucky left, not realising that you knew about what he was trying to hide.

Everyone ate dinner together. Steve, Thor, Sam and Tony were back so they were there too. You hadn't seen the stuff that they'd managed to pack because they'd avoided you until now, like Bucky requested.

Bucky was sitting on the other side of the table to you; you'd made sure that would happen. When Bucky sat down next to Nat, he looked at you, expecting that you'd sit in the seat next to him. Instead you didn't even look at him as you walked around the table and sat between Wanda and May. You didn't talk much throughout the meal, only speaking when spoken to. Bucky didn't try and make conversation as he was down the other end of the table, but he spent a lot of the time looking at you. He could tell something was wrong.

After dinner, you quickly excused yourself to go back to your room. Bucky watched you until you were out the door. You slammed it shut (you hadn't intended to so you didn't realise). Bucky put his plate in the sink then went after you. He caught up with you before you got back to your room.

"Y/n?"

You turned when you heard your name. You tried not to roll your eyes when you saw him. Bucky walked the remaining distance to you.

"What's going on?"

"Nothing."

"Y/n, I know there is something so will you please just talk to me."

"Nothing is going on. I'm fine. Leave me alone." You turned to go but only managed to get a few paces away.

"Y/n."

"What!" you spat as you spun back around.

Bucky didn't say anything, but he raised an eyebrow at your attitude. It only annoyed you more. You stood still as he walked back towards you. "What is going on sweetheart?"

Your eyes narrowed madly as you stared at him.

"I want to go home."

Bucky sighed with realisation and dropped his head to look at the floor.

"Can you take me home tomorrow? Or today. Let's go now."

"Y/n-"

"Oh that's right. You can't take me home because we don't have a home anymore because you decided to move without even asking if I wanted to first!"

"I was going to tell you."

"When! Because the way I see it, you wanted to keep it a secret for as long as you could. Did you think I'd just never ask?"

"Of course not. I was going to ask you about it when everything was done."

"So you were going to ask my opinion after you've already done it? What's the fucking point of that!"

"I'm sorry-"

"No. I don't want you to apologise. I wanna go home!"

"This is home now."

You stared at him but didn't say anything. You were trying not to cry. You hated that. You didn't want to stay here.

You wanted privacy so you ran off again. This time Bucky didn't go after you.

He probably should have.
