When the others left the room, they didn't go far. They waited in the hallway outside, listening to muffled voices come from within the room. Then suddenly the door swung open and you came rushing out. But you stopped short when you came face to face with everyone. You looked around until you found your dad, then you marched over to him and took his hand.

"Come on. We're going home."

Before you could go anywhere, Steve stepped in the way. "You're going? Did Bucky authorise this?"

"Oh, yeah. He's fine with it. More than fine, actually. He's so glad he doesn't have to deal with me anymore."

You shoved past him, pulling your dad along with you. You didn't stop until you were outside by his car. You tried the door handle but it was locked.

"Ugh!" You groaned in frustration and kicked at it.

"Hey, don't take it out on the car. It's a rental."

You frowned at him, but your anger was slowly morphing into something else.

"Are you okay, monkey?"

He took your silence as a no, so he moved towards you and hugged you.

"What's wrong?"

A lot of things. What if Bucky was right? But you couldn't turn back, not now you knew he didn't want you there.

You took a deep breath, to calm yourself slightly.

"You promise everything's okay now?" you asked.

You felt him kiss the top of your head. "I promise. I want this to work out, sweetheart, so I'm going to make sure everything's perfect." He squeezed you tightly in his arms. "As it should be." You both stepped back to face each other. "You ready to go now?"

"Mhm" you nodded. Your dad walked around the car to get to the drivers side and you were just about to get in your seat when you heard someone behind you.

"Y/n?"

"Hey Wanda" you smiled a little as she walked over.

"Who's this?"

"Oh, this is my dad. I'm, uh... I'm going to stay with him."

"For how long?"

"Um..." You couldn't say that you weren't coming back. Because you needed to if something was to happen. Then again, it was very unlikely. And Bucky didnt want you home anyway. He didn't want to look after you, so you'd stay with your dad either way. "I don't know" you answered Wanda.

"Okay. Well, stay safe y/n" she advised as she hugged you.

"I will. Bye Wanda."

"Bye honey."

You smiled at her and got in your seat. Your dad started the car; you waved to Wanda when he started driving. She faked a smile until you were out of sight, then she turned and rushed into the building.

As soon as you had stormed off, Steve and Natasha entered the room Bucky was in.

"What happened? You let her go?" Steve questioned.

"I tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen!"

"Hey, calm down" Nat said. "Were you yelling at her too?"

"Of course I was fucking yelling! I'm fucking pissed at her!"

"What are you mad at her for?"

"For ignoring me! She knows what's gonna happen but she's going anyway! She's being stupid! She's gonna get herself hurt!"
