It was worrisome to me as I didn't know what to expect, nor did I know if I was in any condition to fight. I looked at the teacher and hoped she noticed my situation, but despite her looking back, she continued.

"This fight is here to showcase what the current best are capable of, so let's make it interesting at least. Just remember it's a mock battle, don't go injuring the other."

"Heh, she won't be standing when I'm done with her!" he shouted with a smug on his face.

"I can already barely stand and it ain't your fault. Let's get to it."

I went ahead towards the other side of the arena, focusing on not falling down. My headache was quite strong so that alone took most of my energy. As I was walking, Alice asked:

"Master, are you sure you can do it?"

"No, but I hated how he acted almighty."

"Do you want me to try and fight instead?"

"That'd be great, thank you. Lets me rest while you're learning to fight."

Eventually, we arrived at the other side. I noticed most student groups had gone up to the spectator seats and only the teacher and the other kid were still in the arena. I could see the teacher telling me to come closer, but I didn't want to.

She said something to the kid then came to me, presumably to tell me the same thing.

"Lilia, try not to use summons. I wanted to show a fight between two people, not between a person and monsters."

"I'm not fine enough to fight by myself. And my primary type of magic is summoning magic anyways, so that'd put me at a disadvantage."

"That is why I asked for you to fight. I was hoping you'd show that people can learn multiple types of magic. I heard you knew how to use wind and fire magic so I wanted you to showcase them."

"And as I said I'm in no condition to fight. My head is killing me. Just let Alice fight for me."

"Alice?"

"Yeah, my summon. I guess at that point she's no different from a familiar."

"That elemental moth you wouldn't get rid of?"

"Yes, her. I was planning on having her fight instead, would be good practice for her."

"Just fight alongside her, okay? There is nothing wrong with fighting with your familiar even in this case, but you have to show some magic yourself."

"I'll see what I can do."

The teacher nodded and went to the middle of the arena. While she was walking, I took the time to call out to Alice to explain my battle plan.

"Alice, let's do this quick. I don't want to make this any longer than it has to be."

"Master, the woman just told us to make it look interesting..."

"And we'll make it so. I'll use fireballs as weak as I can make them and you fly behind him while I distract him with my magic. Once there you can grab him and either make him fly up slightly above ground, or push him down and stay atop so he can't get up."

"Oh, I like this Master! It's like we're fighting together! Though, Master shouldn't use magic. Her magicules are still unstable within her."

"...Right, I have that problem. Let's make it extra interesting then. Let's keep the plan as is."

"But Master, your-"

"Let's keep it as is."

I had a bold idea but one I knew Alice wouldn't agree, so I tried to convince her to go with the original plan while I do my own things. I wasn't sure it would go too well, but I figured it would be more interesting for the others.
