"She simply replies that she wishes to meet with you," Jor added after a short silence.

"Have you been forwarding what I say to her?"

"I have, yes."

"Then tell her to hold for a bit and help me. I...don't know what to do."

"I am to believe that the best course of action is to accept her terms, though while on guard. We cannot acertain her motivations as the situation is."

"That's the problem. Wouldn't I be putting myself and the both of you into danger unnecessarily?"

"That...might be correct, yes."

"What if I don't agree? What will happen?"

"Allow me to ask her."

"She threatened to continue her spying operation as if nothing happened," he said after a bit of silence. "She also threatened to further investigate you and relay every bit of information she has to the demon army to guarantee their success in the upcoming invasion."

"...That's important information already, why would she tell us about the invasion?"

"I believe it is because she either expects us to know about it already, or to make a show of her genuine intent to talk to us."

"...And she won't relay everything if I talk to her?"

"It seems not."

I once again started rushing my brain to take a decision. The noise of the other classmates'  work was making thinking difficult, unlike usual. After weighing both options heavily, I ended up reluctantly deciding on one.

"I'll agree to meeting her. I cannot put other people into danger just to save my own ass."

"...Spoken like a goddess," Jor simply replied as he went silent.

I did not like what he had just said, but I admitted it was right. I had taken the responsibilities, so I also had to act on it.

"She asks to meet with you in this very cave as soon as possible, though her time limit is simply a week from now."

"Ah, I can't leave town, since I'm a student."

"Right. Is there any other possibilities you'd like to give her?"

"She'll have to meet me in town. Problem is finding the place and time."

"I will at least forward this information."

During the silence where Jor was talking to that mysteriously calm demon, I started thinking of possibilities to coordinate the meeting. No matter what I could try, the guild seemed to be the best place.

"She accepted that condition and said to meet her at the guild on one of the days you're capable of it within the week."

"That would be either Saturday or Sunday, which are still a while away..."

"Should I forward the information?"

"I think so, yes. I wouldn't want her near the academy just in case, so the guild is the only possibility."

"Do remember the academy you are at isn't the sole establishment in the city."

"Oh. Right, all the more reason."

"In that case I will forward the information that it can only be done on Saturday or Sunday."

"Say Saturday specifically. Since on Sunday I have to meet with Souji, it's best to not have the two of them meet. Even if he hasn't been here lately, it's best to be safe."
