I ended up falling asleep while pondering over any possible way to figure out my earlier question. A way to prove this odd conversion situation. Alice's life was too complex a situation to try and figure it out at first so I focused on simply figuring out the magic conversion situation.

I woke up the next day uncharacteristically tired. I stretched and got out of the bath to dress up. I put on my underwear, my skirt, but struggled to put on my shirt. I looked over and noticed my wings had gotten out.

I was curious why, but my busy mind gave it little importance. I cast the spell on them again, verified it was done correctly, and finished dressing up before going out.

I did not see Sayuri on the way, which surprised me. I once again did not pay it much mind and continued to breakfast then classes. Nothing noteworthy happened, though we would have a test on Friday for magic theory class.

Then came magic practice class. Since we were all still training other magic types, I wanted to best use this time by checking the conversion theory more closely. It didn't take long for me to find an experiment.

I summoned Alice and a goblin, then asked Alice to cast a light magic spell on the goblin once I was ready. I then closed my eyes and tried to view things through their magicules. It took a bit as I had grown unused to it, but I managed.

I first looked around the class and noticed many types of magic being used. In every case, the magic came out from the user rather than the air, which I found interesting. I noticed a few students using water magic, though I did not hurt thanks to the automatic spell I made myself use every time to give control back.

I sighed, and uttered quietly to Alice that I was ready. She heard me, and used a spell on the goblin. To my shock, everything happened nearly instantly. It was far too quick for me to figure out what was happening. However, I could tell one thing for sure. Alice had used light magic, but what affected the goblin was summoning magic coming from me.

I tried a few different spells in a similar setup, verifying that Alice had her own magic and it wasn't tied to me. Similarly, I tried summoning an elemental moth and having it use magic. It drained my own magicules, using summoning magic to transfer it to the creature, which then came out from it as fire magic.

At this point, it was fairly obvious that magic types had some weird intricacies going on with them. I wanted to try some more things, specifically involving blood magic, but I didn't have the knowledge necessary. In a slither of hope, I went to ask the teacher.

"Koko-sensei, I'm sorry but could I ask you for some help?"

"Oh. Uh, sure Lilia. What can I help you with?"

"Okay so. Do you know blood magic?"

"Yes, but I'm not too good at it. Why?"

"Do you know how to try and use a blood magic spell on someone else?"

"That wouldn't be blood magic then would it?"

"That's exactly what I want to confirm. Can you help?"

"I can try."

I nodded and we went together to try. I did as earlier and she used her spells. She first used her spell on herself, then tried to grant it to Alice instead.

Her initial spell on herself was indeed blood magic. However, something amazing happened after. She slowly concentrated as I saw thin strings of magicules grow away from her in all directions. Then, as she "targeted" Alice, the mass of blood red magicules around her got flung to Alice.

There, it became pale yellow. The color of light magic.

"Alice, did you get the spell?"

"Yes I did, Master! It was a strength up spell!"
