The next day, I woke up somewhat dizzy. We did spend a lot of time talking and laughing,  but not enough to result in such a hangover state. I got out of bed and noticed I still had my wings spread out. Thankfully, Sayuri was already out of bed and seemingly outside the room.

I quickly hid my wings again and dressed myself before going out of my room. Seeing as people were still going in and out of the dining room, I figured I overslept. I skipped breakfast and went directly into class, the first to arrive.

To my surprise, Tanaka-sensei was the second to arrive. After placing what he was carrying on his desk, he came to see me.

"You're here very early today."

"I didn't feel like eating."

"Are you anxious for today maybe?"

"Well... I suppose that's part of it?"

I finally figured out why I had such trouble sleeping. Anxiety had struck me pretty hard the night before, hard enough I cannot recollect details about it. Only that Tanaka-sensei and Sayuri now knew about my wings, and that I would likely have to show the rest of the class today.

"On that note, come see me after class. I sent an urgent letter to the tailor for the custom uniform," he said, getting me out of my own head.

"Huh?" I simply replied in confusion.

"You had to undress to show your wings yesterday. I don't think you can do that in front of the whole class, so I arranged to ask for a special uniform to be made for you. It will have open slits for your wings to safely be brough out."

"...Right. Thank you. Who's paying though?"

"You are, obviously."

His look was one of disbelief, as if I had asked something so obvious he was questioning me as a whole.

"...With what money?"

"That's for you to figure out. Aren't you as capable as an adult already?"

"...Touché."

My best guess was that I would meet with the tailor today so they can prepare the uniform, and I would pay for it once possible. That would entail working hard at the guild. I simply don't have that time, seeing as the uniform might cost quite a lot. Asking Father was a possibility, one I would have to rely on.

As I was thinking, I noticed a few students coming in, so Tanaka-sensei left back to his desk to prepare today's lesson. It reminded me we would now be studying runic magic, which I was looking forward to. However, there was little I could do on my end to prepare for class.

"Master?" I heard in my mind while waiting.

"What is it Alice?"

"Uhm... Where is Cassandra-san?"

I opened my eyes wide, suddenly realising I hadn't seen her the whole morning. I frantically searched my mind but could not figure anything out. She didn't leave yesterday night either. I had no idea what she could be doing, as panic slowly settled in.

"Couldn't she have gone with Sayuri-san?" Jor offered.

"She could, but I don't know where Sayuri is either. I did skip breakfast so maybe she was in the dining room when I left. Either way, I have to find either one, and quick. Who knows what they're up to."

I hurriedly left my seat to go directly to the teacher.

"Teach, I don't know where Cassandra is, and I'm worried she went off on her own to do god knows what. I'm off to try and find her."
