Chapter 40

After they left. I felt weak. I couldn't move. My body started aching. So much pain.

"Being a hero, aren't we?" Yulysses asked. "Can you even fight me?"

I didn't speak. I just let my self suffer from the pain she caused. I felt so weak that I can feel my knees are shaking while watching them leave.

It's better this way. Hindi na sila mapapahamak.

"Ano, Eilonwy? Tutunganga ka na lang diyan? Akala ko ba malakas ka? Is it fake?" I hate her. I fucking hate her for acting like she's so kind but it's never her true colors.

I guess, you really don't know if people around you is an enemy.

I looked at Yulysses and straighten up. My sweats are also dripping down. Dagdag pa na sobrang init dito, para akong nasa impiyerno. I think I really am. Lazarus is a demon so as his kingdom.

I really hope that everyone's gonna be fine after I finish this. I hope everyone will be at peace. They all deserve a peaceful life.

I want this to be done.

"Where's your Mother?" I asked.

"Why are you asking about her?" She raised her eyebrows. "Ah... You think you can fight her na ba? Eh kasi alam mo, she's busy."

"Really?" Para bang interesado ko pang tanong. She nodded at me. "Lazarus."

"He's finally here." Sabi niya at bigla bumukas ang kaninang portal na dinaanan ni Lazarus.

Lumuwan ang nilalang na nakakapagpataas ng balahibo ko. He really is a demon. That's why my Dad killed him. And his soul is the only one who's living. I thought it's really his body but it is actually not his.

"Where are the visitors? I thought you were with them?" Lazarus asked Yulysses.

"She's being a hero so she sent them back." Tinuro ako ni Yulysses.

"Hmm..." Tumango tango siya at doon nagtama ang tingin namin. "Still like your Father. Always being a hero."

Napuno ng katahimikan ang buong paligid at tanging kulog at kidlat na lang ang gumagawa ng ingay.

Umupo sa kaniyang trono si Lazarus at nanatiling nakatayo naman si Yulysses, pinagmamasdan niya ang Skull Blade Sword niya.

She's also like her Mother. They're both crazy. Lol.

"What do you want?" Matapang kong tanong. Natigilan si Lazarus sa pag iisip at naagaw ko ang atensyon niya. An evil smile appeared on his face.

"I want you. I want all of them to die. I want to control them. I want to destroy all of you." He put his both hands placed the elbow at the edge of his chair. "Every single wizard, sorcerer, creature in this town."

"You must face me first." He laughed at my statement. I am not joking. I want him to face me. I know I am not as good as my parents, and I am not ready to face him.

But, trying is the best thing I can do for now. I trust myself as they trust me. I can't let them down.

I trust my ability because I am an Alterio. I am the daughter of Loki Alterio.

If I die here, then I'll die. We're gonna go to hell together.

Tumayo siya sa kinauupuan niya at lumapit sa akin. Isang pikit ko lang ay nasa harapan ko na siya. He's that fast.

He tilted his head at the back and nodded at Yulysses bago siya bumalik sa kaniya upuan. So, he wanted me to face this weak girl first?

Then, I'll face her. She's never an inch for me. She's just a weakling to me. She'll never beat me, I am the one that will beat her to death.
