The letter was finally complete, and all that remained was to mail it. But there was a problem Ivonna was forbidden to go outside and since the last interrogation Sebastian's paranoia made him stricter.
Everything they, Ivonna and her daughter, did made him angry. It was uncertain how long it would be for his verbal aggression turned physical. To prevent that, she needed to send that later.
"Tian, I'm going to run some errands with Iris."
"Are you asking or telling me?" He snarled at her. She looked at the floor, "Uh- asking."
"Then no." He said.
"Bu—"
"I said no." He said with base in his voice. She didn't want to give up, and pleaded again, "I swear I won't be out for too long."
He got in her face, "I said— ykw fine but you better be back in an hour."
She nodded. She went to get her child, putting both of the coats on and the letter in her pocket. They went on their walk.
L Lawliet.
The man she overheard Sebastian say was working on Jarvis' case, and the same one she bumped into on the day of the birthday party. She grateful that happened because now she can come forward to expose the truth.
As they continued on with their walk to the postal office, she took a detour and ended up on the block where her old friend lived.
She could feel herself getting emotional as she walked on the same sidewalk they used to whenever they got off of the school bus, before they met him.
She gripped on the letter, crashing it as she got closer to the house. As she looked up at the familiar place, old memories appeared.

High school, a realm where teenage emotions and relationships are unpredictable. In their first year, Ivonna, who initially didn't like Sebastian for stealing her best friend, found herself developing strong feelings for him. Puberty changed his appearance, catching her eye. Meanwhile Jarvis, who went through a change as well, she didn't see him in the same light.
The feelings were mutual, so it wasn't too much of a loss. They saw each other as family and he didn't mind playing cupid for them.
It worked what was once a rivalry between them blossomed into a relationship... then sophomore year homecoming dance came along.
What was once a fun night ended in heartbreak for Ivonna. They came as each other's date, and Jarvis, like usual since the two started dating was juh vibing. He won winning homecoming prince for his grade and had his whole roster wanted to dance with him.
