(Petra's POV)
I woke up to the rising sun as its light streamed in through my bedroom window. I yawned as I sat up and stretched out. I looked at the calendar and gasped excitedly.

Why did I gasp you ask? Well, Jack and I have been planning this one adventure for quite some time now. This adventure would be for just the two of us to have a but of quality time together. I quickly got out of bed and put on my armor. I also packed up my inventory with some supplies and weapons. After packing my stuff, I ran downstairs and sat on the couch as I waited for Jack.

After waiting for about an hour, I heard a knock on the door. I sprang off the couch before sprinting to the door. I opened the door before throwing my arms around Jack. Jack stumbled back a bit before tripping on his heal and falling onto his back.

"H-Hey Petra, are you ready to go?" Jack chuckled.

I nodded, "Of course, I'm so SO excited!"

I got off of Jack, blushing a bit. I held out a hand to help him up, and he gratefully accepted it. Once he got up, he dusted himself off before motioning for me to follow him. I rushed up behind him and followed him.

A couple hours of walking later, the sun was starting to set on the ocean's horizon. We started to set up a small cobblestone hut for the night. When might came, we were setting up some torches around the area. The next thing I knew, I was being tackled to the ground before hearing a loud grunt. I felt a bit of blood drip into my face. I looked up to see Jack on top of me. He had been shot with an arrow in the shoulder.

"Jack!" I exclaimed.

Jack grunted in pain, "I'm fine, Petra. We should get into the hut ASAP."

I nodded and helped Jack up and into the hut. I shut the door and told Jack to sit down. I got a piece of cloth and leather. I took off his vest and shirt before I started to treat his wound. I gently grabbed the arrow and slowly pulled it out of his shoulder. Once I removed the arrow, I quickly placed the piece of cloth onto the open wound and tried stopping the bleeding. When I saw the wound wasn't bleeding anymore, I wrapped the piece of leather I had out around the covered wound. When I secured the leather, I looked up at Jack sadly.

"You know, you could have gotten seriously hurt. Why did you do that?" I asked.

Jack rolled his eyes, "Well, I didn't want you to get hurt."

I sighed, "You just— you didn't need to do that."

Jack sighed and motioned for me to sit with him. I sat down next to him, and he put an arm around me and pulled me close to him. I sighed and put my head on his chest. Soon, my eyes became heavy and before I knew it, I had fallen asleep.

The next morning, I woke up with a bit of soreness in my back. I looked up to see Jack looking right down at me, smiling.

"Good morning, hunny," he said softly.

I stretched out a but before responding, "Good morning."

"So, are you ready to go treasure hunting today?" he asked.

I gave him a confused look, "But, your shoulder—"

"I'll be fine," he interrupted.

Jack attempted to get up but winced in pain. He fell back to the floor, holding his shoulder. I took his hand into mine, and he squeezed it harshly.

"Maybe you should rest for a while," I suggested.

Jack's eyes widened, "W-what? Why?"

"Because, you're hurt and in need of some rest. But as soon as that shoulder heals, we will go on that adventure," I reassured him.
