(Y/N's POV)
After seating yet another table, I was finally able to take a five minutes break and sit down. Ever since I applied, my boss has non-stop had me on my feet as hostess. What's worse is the hostess is supposed to be the most social person ever. And I was not social whatsoever! This made my job ten times more awkward than it already was.

While on break, my boss walked into the break room. Everyone, except me because I was on my phone, straightened up and looked her dead in the eyes. She walked up to me and tilted my phone down. I looked up at her and gulped.

"(Y/N), I'm going to need you to cut your break short," my boss said.

I looked at her nervously, "B-but, why?"

"We've got a party of eight and you need to seat them. Our other hostess called out sick right as they arrived," the boss explained.

I sighed sadly, "I'll be right there."

"Good, don't keep them waiting too long," the boss said before walking out of the break room.

I heard my other co-workers laughing and giggling at what had just happened. I shot them a glare before getting up> I walked out the door, slamming it in their snarky ass faces. I walked up to the hostess podium and sighed. I started greeting them.

"Welcome, how may I help yo—"

I looked up and started blushing immediately. There standing in front of me was the leader of the New Order of the Stone, Jesse. I sighed as I stared into his dark emerald green eyes. He chuckled, causing me to snap out of the trance.

"Is everything alright?" he asked through his light chuckling.

I nodded, "Of course. So, how many?"

"Eight," Jesse answered.

I picked up eight menus and eight sets of utensils, "Alright, follow me."

I walked ahead of them as I started leading them to their table. When we arrived, I set down all the menus and utensils in their proper places as they started to seat themselves. Once that was finished, pulled out my ordering tickets and started to take their drink orders. After taking their orders, I quickly got to the drink station to fill their order. As I was filling one of the glasses, I started to think about Jesse. I was so deep in thought I hadn't realized I had overfilled the glass, and it was now dripping all over the floor.

"(Y/N)!" one of the waitresses shouted.

I immediately snapped back to reality and realized what I had done. I immediately pulled the cup away from the machine and cleaned up the mess. After cleaning the mess, I placed the drinks on the serving tray before taking the drinks to the table. I quickly took their food order and ran it through the system. They got their order minutes after they placed it.

After they finished their meal, Jesse called me over to the table. I ran over to the table and took out my ticket pad.

"Anything else I could get you guys?" I asked nervously.

Jesse smirked, "Yes, the check and your number."

"Um—" I stuttered.

"Jesse! Please be mature!" Olivia scolded.

Harper rolled her eyes and muttered, "Seriously? Keep it in your pants, Jesse."

I walked off a bit flustered before I came back with their receipt. Once they had paid, Jesse's friends left leaving Jesse behind. When I came back to check up on him, Jesse asked to speak to my boss. So, I led him to the office. I knocked on the door, but there was no response. I sighed and opened the door, but my boss wasn't in there.
