Y/n stood several yards in front of me, shivering in the windowless and damp building. The only things I could see around us were rusted poles from concrete ceiling to concrete floor. It was dark, but somehow I could see.

She was lightly crying as she hugged herself, but I couldn't move.

Suddenly, a shadow of a person slowly peeled itself from the wall and moved closer to her. She couldn't see him. He was approaching her from behind, and her eyes were tightly closed as she was petrified, from what, I did not know yet.

I wanted to open my mouth, but nothing came out. My brain told my legs to move, run to her!

The shadow of a man became slightly more clear as he came closer to Y/n. I could see his features better with each slow step he took. His white coat was damp and musty, but his face was clean. Unsettling enough, his eyes were bloodshot and crazed, the bags under his eyes showing he hadn't slept much if at all.

Very carefully, he raised a gloved hand and placed it on her shoulder. Her eyes fired open and connected with mine immediately.

I was swarmed with horror as yellow puffs of smoke and strange strings of lights sizzled from his hand and into her shoulder. From then, the yellow spread over her body, covering her skin in an aggressive glow.

I was stuck in the trance of her now beaming yellow eyes.

The man backed up as the spreading color stopped, and disappeared into the shadows.

As Y/n kept my gaze as prisoner and body as a statue, I felt my spine shiver as she began to smirk. Her teeth were as white as chalk, but it seemed as if she were dribbling red saliva, or blood.

Although I couldn't move, I could feel myself hyperventilating and become light headed.

Her smirk fell, and her eyes filled with sorrow. Her arms fell to her side as she stared at me.

"Help me." She pleaded through a whisper.

Quickly, her smile grew wide and angry, and she began a full sprint directly at me.

"NO!" I screamed, causing myself to jump up from the nightmare. My body was coated in a thick layer of sweat, and my breathing was exactly the same as in the dream. "Shit." I grumbled, looking around and seeing I was just in my room.

I had finally fallen asleep after getting home from Mr. Stark's. I must have finally tossed and turned myself into exhaustion, but after that nightmare I can't see my brain allowing that anymore.

I sat up and kicked my feet off of the floor and onto the ground. Looking to the right, I grabbed my phone off of the nightstand and simply clicked it on. It was two twenty six in the afternoon, and I had two texts.

May simply told me she left for work and to update her about my plans, and the other was from Happy.

'Get up.'

He sent that an hour ago. I shook myself awake a bit more and started to dig for clothes for the day. Jeans and a (your favorite color) shirt. As I got dressed, the nightmare replayed in my head.

I had little to no time to process any of what has happened, and I can feel myself developing some kind of depleted rock bottom. Who was the man, and why was he after Y/n? Where did she go, and where did he come from? What was the yellow thing? It looked exactly the same as what Dr. Banner pulled from Vision.
