Peter

"Your phone is ringing!" May's voice startled me to the floor as I shot awake. I hit my head on the chair in front of my desk and held it lightly as I looked around my bedroom. I slept like a baby, what time was it?

"Pete? Your phone?" Her head poked into the room and she looked at me quizzically on the floor.

"Oh shit, shit shit shit shit shit." I muttered and scrambled wildly across the hardwood to reach up to the table beside my bed. I could now hear the vigorous vibrating from my cell phone now and the panic wasted no time to set in. Who could be calling me, and what for?

I bet she was gone again. I bet they were calling me to tell me to get there immediately and help find her again. Surely, she would be gone.

"Hello?!" I yelled into the phone as Aunt May left the room to give me some privacy. "Where is she?!"  I hadn't even looked at the caller ID.

"Peter!" Bruce's voice surprised me. "We need you to get here immediately, she's freaking out!" I could faintly hear Y/n yelling at somebody in the background and couldn't help but relax as I heard she was still there. "Happy should be there by now, just please hurry."

"Okay, I'm on my way." I spoke before hanging up quickly. I threw myself onto my feet and quickly changed into jeans and a white t-shirt. Shoveling my phone into my pocket, I exited my room and looked around for Aunt May.

"Hey, I'm sorry I have to leave so urgently again, something came up at the lab." I stated as I passed her in the kitchen.

"You're becoming such an adult, I miss seeing you." She smiled lightly before shoving an egg sandwich into my hands. "At least take some breakfast with you."

"I promise things should be slowing down soon, I'm really sorry." I frowned and graciously took the food from her.

"It's okay honey, I understand. You're growing up, you've got things to do. It honestly wouldn't even surprise me if you moved out soon." I nibbled the sandwich as she spoke but nearly choked by the end.

"May! Are you kicking me out?" I teased and walked over to the front door.

"Not a chance in hell, stay here forever if you want!" She laughed and walked over as I yanked my shoes over my socks. "I'm just saying, you never have to worry about me. This is all part of the game." Her words were soft like she was reminiscing all the time we had together from my childhood to now.

"Don't worry Aunt May, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." I smiled lightly and gave her a gentle hug. She hugged me back before shooing me out of the door.

"Go go go, your phone call sounded urgent." She nudged as she literally kicked me out. "Text me when you'll be home!" I laughed and waved goodbye as I headed for the stairs.

When we arrived at the building, everything seemed so calm from the outside. There was no noise other than the light breeze around me and even it felt normal. Nothing felt bitter or angry like the usual times Y/n was inside.

My guts swirled around anxiously as I began to think of the worst case scenarios. Was she even still here? What if she got a hold of Bruce and Tony and had a chance to escape? Were they dead?!

"Oh Peter, thank god!" Bruce came running out, urging me inside the building quickly and handing me a bracelet I remembered from the prototype. It was similar to Tony's, allowing him to wear his suit in the simple press of a button. I wish I had the time to be excited over this, but I simply placed my hand through it and kept walking.

"What's going on?" I asked in a panic as I followed him to Y/n's new room. "Is she okay?"

"Tony just tried to bring her breakfast and she has been throwing and breaking things all morning. We can't get her to calm down, and I think Tony is at his limit with patience."
