"Where are you going?" May asked as I excitedly grabbed my jacket from the rack.
"Tony's" I stated simply as I yanked on my shoes.
"It's Saturday." She sat on the couch casually as she spoke. I looked up at her and smiled.
"Higher Education doesn't take breaks," I joked, feeling a little bit like a liar. I couldn't tell her Tony had made a new suit for me, obviously.
"Alright, Mr. Parker." she teased. I rolled my eyes and opened the door.
"I'll be home later!" I called, walking out. She yelled a friendly goodbye before I heard the door close. As if it were a running pistol, I took off as soon as it clicked.
Happy was waiting outside for me, and he was going to drive me upstate to get the suit. To say I was excited is an understatement. I bolted down the steps, spotting his car immediately. It was the only non-yellow car on the streets; The classic agent car, a black explorer.
I hopped into the front and looked at his solemn face with my cheery one.
"Ready?" He asked simply.
"Ready."

The building was as nice as always as we pulled up. The large windows allowed the light to shine into the rooms nicely, and even the air felt more open and clean.
"Man I love it here." I muttered as Happy parked the car. It felt like we traveled to a whole other hemisphere.
Happy ignored me, per usual, and climbed out of the car. I followed quickly and walked beside him as we neared the building.
"Hey, before we go in," Happy stopped walking and looked at me. I looked at him and waited for his words. "Things are a little hectic in there last minute. War Machine caught The Widower last night, and it isn't pretty."
"He did?!" I yelled a bit too loud. Happy started to walk away but at a pace I could keep up with. "I mean, how isn't it pretty?"
"Just be on guard and don't let her touch you." Was all he said before he opened the door.
It was a girl? Don't let her touch me?
First of all, if this was the same person I knew from the news, why wasn't she locked up somewhere or pushed back to whatever planet she came from?
Second of all, why did I expect it to be a male?
Thirdly, what would happen if she touched me? I had lots of questions that seemed impossible to find answers for.
The two of us walked in and I immediately knew what he meant by 'not pretty'.
Screaming, not entirely of pain but of anger and fear, tore through out the whole building. I furrowed my eyebrows as Tony walked up.
"What's going on?" I asked him. He let a sigh out of his mouth before motioning me over. The angry yelling continued as he spoke.
"The Widower. She isn't what we expected, obviously." He rolled his eyes. "She's in a very angry state, can't remember her name, where she's from, or anything. The strangest part, we did tests while she was unconscious. She's human."
"So send her to a prison, she's just a murderer." I scoffed, folding my arms over my chest.
"That's where it gets weird." Happy chimed in.
"When Banner tried to do tests on her, she of course wasn't happy about it. She managed to break through Vision and get outside." Tony explained.
"But you got her?" I asked quickly. I wanted to be a part of this so badly.
"Don't interrupt." Tony stated. "Who do you think I am? Of course I got her. She's mortal. But something about her isn't. The grass all around her when she was caught again was black and dead."
I gave him a strange look, causing him to motion for me to follow him to a front facing window.
He pointed at the ground, where a patch of grass was DEAD dead. The spot was black, like someone had set it on fire.
"She did that?" I asked.
"Bruce ran more tests after I knocked her out and as it turns out, her touch can kill any living thing." Tony finished.
"How did you get her here?" I asked as we started walking, more than likely in her direction.
"Our suits. She has to have skin to skin contact." Tony stated.
I nodded and kept a serious face on.
"Speaking of suits." He stated, stopping in front of the silver doors. They opened and he held his arms out as if showcasing jewelry.
The suit was shiny under the display lights and looked sharp and strong. I couldn't hold back the smile as I walked closer to it.
I placed my hands on it, feeling around and examining the suit.
"Carbon lining to help with all of your gymnastic stunts." He teased, patting me on the shoulder.
"Thank you Mr. Stark. Does this mean I get to be a part o-"
"-We'll see."
I'll take it.
I looked back at the suit, thousands of questions about it in my head, but a scream stopped me.
"Let me go!" The female voice yelled. My heart stopped beating, and every hair on my body stood up.
Tony sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"What's bothering her now?" He began walking in the direction the scream came from. I followed closely behind him, not having a mind of my own. My body felt like it was on autopilot, my footsteps felt numb, but why?
Every step closer we took to The Widower, the stranger I felt. My veins vibrated underneath my skin along with gut wrenching nausea that twisted like vines in my stomach.
"Bruce?" Tony called, turning the corner.
"Everything is fine!" Dr. Banner replied, obviously struggling with whatever he was doing.
"Good God, how can you fix that?" Tony spoke. I hadn't reached the turn yet, so I had no idea what they were talking about.
"Restraining and gloves I suppose." Banner replied. I finally turned the corner, and the first thing I saw was a trail of trickled blood. I looked up at Dr. Banner, seeing his hand covered in the glove from Tony's suit. Behind him was a girl, but I couldn't see her face yet.
Blood dripped from her knuckles, leaving me to assume she was punching something hard beforehand.
They weren't just scraped, however. You could see either bones or ligaments through the ripped up knuckles.
"Come on, Kid." Banner spoke, pulling her along to his lab. She looked up, finally, and we made eye contact.
"Y/n..." I could recognize her (your color eyes) anywhere.
Her look was solemn, but near exhausted.
My heart began pounding, my legs became weak, and all the pain and suffering of the year of getting over what happened, came flooding back.
"Y/n!" I yelled, reaching out to her.
"Woah!" Tony yelled, grabbing my arm. "I said don't touch."
Tears filled my eyes as Banner continued to walk, and she simply looked back ahead of herself and followed.
"Y/N!!!"
