Peter

Tony stood as I sat, him pondering all of the details I just gave him.

"So you're telling me," He started, finally looking up from staring at the floor. "The girl who 'broke your heart' a year ago just so happens to turn up as a villain?"

"She's not a villain." I snapped at him, earning a surprised look.

"Why are you defending her?" he asked with a sarcastic curiosity on his face.

"I-I..." I stuttered. I didn't know why, exactly. Our last conversation was a fight that ended with her disappearing. Nothing was said, I didn't even know if she was alive until now. How come after so long, my first instinct is to protect her?

"She's killed so many people. You even wanted to catch the Widower yourself. Why is it different now?" He spoke.

"Because until now, I thought the girl I loved the most was dead. I thought that I had chased away the best thing that ever happened to me, and she was killed. Up until now, I had her death playing in my head all the fucking time. Don't preach to me about young love not working out and all that bullshit. Her death was mine for a year. That sucks no matter how much you love someone!" I yelled back.

Tony let me yell, but watched my hands angrily grip the seat's handles.

"Do you want to talk to her?" he asked.

"I can do that?" I looked at him quickly.

"She's got toxic touch, not hearing aids." He rolled his eyes and motioned for me to follow. My body threw itself off of the seat and followed behind him. He was strolling peacefully, unlike my scrambled, keep-up, steps.

He turned a corner, nodding to Bruce, who was looking at some things on a clipboard.

"Talk to me." Tony stated, walking over to him. I kept walking, looking into a barred cell that sat all the way at the end of the building.

"Her vitals are clear, human DNA, there's a trace of something else- something I've never heard of..." Bruce trailed off, talking about Y/n like she was an experiment.

I looked closer into the cell.

The was a nice bed, a dresser, a window, a carpet, but it was a jail cell none the less.

Then I spotted her.

She was curled up in the most uncomfortable spot in the room. The corner hugged her body as she trembled.

"Y/n?" I called out, getting Bruce's attention.

"He knows her?" He asked, stepping closer.

Her head snapped up, and her red, puffy eyes glared hatred into me.

"Ex girlfriend." Tony stated, amused. Dr. Banner gave him a strange look, but didn't know what to say.

"Oh."

"Y/n?" I called again, looking into her eyes.

"She doesn't rem-"

"Doesn't remember anything, I got it." I snapped. Tony found this more amusing than it should be, and it was starting to piss me off.

"It's Peter." I spoke softly. "W-what happened to you?" I asked, looking at her. Her hair was (darker version of whatever your hair is). (IF YOU HAVE NO HAIR- Her skin was pale but tough looking)

Her eyes showed only dark, angry emotions, that held a shiver underneath my skin.

"Peter?" She croaked out, as if she hadn't spoken for a long time. Tony and Bruce both looked shocked as she spoke, so I was guessing it was true. She came a tiny bit closer, looking at me. A glaze came over her eyes, and sadness took over my body.

A tear fell down my cheek, for reason I did not understand. She scoot closer and closer, and soon I wasn't able to move. I just stayed there, watching her move closer, noticing everything about her.

She had scabs and cuts in various places, her fingernails were long, but chipped in random spots. Her mouth was dry, she moved with great pain, she looked so broken.

"What did they do to you?" I whispered.

"Be careful." Tony warned. "She can alter emotions."

That's why I felt sad.

"I missed you..." Why did she want me to feel weak?

Oh no.

Within a split second, she had my collar in her hands. Her arms were between the bars quickly, gripping onto me as her face went back to that of anger.

"Shit," Tony yelled, coming closer.

"You're a liar!" Y/n screamed in my face. I was terrified. I didn't know what to do.

Her fingers were almost brushing against my neck. The cold feeling of her hand made my hair stand up. That, or I was sensing intense danger.

"What?!" I yelled, trying to scoot back from her clutches. Bruce grabbed some strange device and ran closer to us. Y/n looked at it with genuine scared eyes, and pulled me against the bars. This way, bruce couldn't touch her with whatever it was, but she still had me.

My face was pressing against the bars, her strength was overpowering.

What happened to her?!

"Let him go." Bruce warned, holding the device up. I saw that it was a simple syringe.

She watched as he came behind me, showing that he could get her through her hands.

"Let him go!" Bruce yelled, his voice becoming deep and angry.

"Bad time to go green!" Tony yelled, watching it all go down. There was nothing he could have done, however.

Bruce huffed and stared Y/n down. He placed the syringe against her hand, and gave her a final warning.

She watched carefully, trying to figure out how to escape.

She looked at me once more, before shoving me back, and pulling me hard against the bars. My temple rammed into the bar, a pain overcoming my blackening vision.

I felt my body collapse into someone's arms, and rested helplessly as I lost consciousness.

Shit.
