(A/n I just realized there isn't a bathroom in the tank they had for The Hulk so lets pretend there is a toilet in there lmao its out in the open sorry)

"Good, you're here." Tony stated as he shoved a plate of sandwiches into my hands. I stumbled a little and nearly dropped it as my backpack swung my weight to the side.
"Lunch?" I asked, glancing at them before looking at Dr. Bruce. I nodded with a smile as he did the same, greeting one another.
"You and Y/n. There's an easy-to-figure-out food slot in the glass nearest the computer. We have cameras so don't do anything embarrassing," Tony continued. I couldn't help but smile at his kindness, and especially the fact that he called Y/n by name. It was a weird thing to see Mr. Stark attempt compassion. "But don't forget to reseal it." His final words were stern.
I nodded and decided it was best to get right to it, and turned to the hallway. As I walked through, I noticed the weight that had been slowly lifting off of my shoulders. Whether it was peace in knowing where Y/n was, or the new hope that was flowering from our progress, I did not know. I just knew that I was fighting for something now.
I opened the door, and even though I tried to be careful, it creaked and startled Y/n. She shot up from her lying position on the ground and watched me closely.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I brought some lunch," I spoke carefully and lifted the plate to show her.
"Don't treat me like I'm made of glass. I could kill you in less than a second." She sneered. I frowned and walked into the room fully and sat where I was yesterday. Setting the plate on the ground beside me and staring at it, I took a deep breath.
"I'm not trying to upset you, I just..." I let out a sigh as I thought of my words. "I don't know what to do."
"Let me out." She stated simply.
"You know I can't do that." I stated back and looked up at her. She had silently moved right in front of the glass and I didn't even notice. The jump scare made my heart leap from my chest. She was completely swift about it.
"Why not." Her question sounded more like a demand.
"Because you killed people, Y/n." I was trying to stay calm and collected but it was frustrating to continuously talk of this.
"Stop calling me that!" She yelled, startling me again as she slammed her fist against the glass. It echoed and vibrated like normal but didn't falter. She pursed her lips as she stared at the glass, before falling to a sitting position right there. It was an instant reminder that she could not get out.
I watched as she stared at her hands in her lap, taking in the bruises on her skin. It was obvious she had spent some time over night trying to punch her way out but at least she couldn't cut herself on anything in a tantrum.
"Are you hungry?" I broke the silence, scolding myself for calling her by name. She looked up at me quickly but not because of the idea of food. I think she was surprised that I was still being kind to her. Her face held confusion as she continued to stare. Her eyes followed me as I stood up and walked over to the slot Tony had mentioned.
It was pretty easy. I pushed the button labeled '1' and the side of the glass closest to me opened up. I put a sandwich into the space and hit the '2'. The glass opened up on Y/n's side. She stood up, still saying nothing, and walked over.
She looked at the sandwich, then to me, then back. Slowly, she reached her hand out and picked up the sandwich. I smiled as I pushed the '3' button, which closed the glass and let out a small hiss as it sealed. Her eyes watched me as she held the food in her hand. I stepped back to my place and sat on the ground, taking a decent bite out of my own sandwich.
Y/n visibly relaxed as she saw me eat, then walked to the furthest side of the tank to eat in private. I relaxed as well as I enjoyed this small moment between us. There was no sound other than my own chewing, as she was too far for me to hear hers.
Eventually, we both had finished and sat there just looking at each other. We breathed silently as we relaxed against our separate walls. The time was peaceful but as I felt my eyes starting to become heavy, Y/n spoke up.
"What did you bring?"
I blinked my eyes quickly to wake up a little bit, but looked at her curiously. I followed her gaze to the backpack I had forgotten I brought.
"Oh, just a handful of things I thought you might need." I stated sheepishly, unsure of how she would react to it. Her face stayed blank, so I decided to continue. "I brought a fuzzy (your favorite color) blanket, I'm not sure if you get hot or cold or what but... yeah..." I trailed off as her expression stayed the same.
"I also brought some (your favorite candy or treat), (your favorite casual drink), and uh, some (pads or tampons if you use them)." I blushed at the end. This had to set her off for sure.
She kept silent, which was almost worse than her being angry. I stood up once again and went through all of the buttons to give Y/n the items, and waited.
She stood up as slowly as she did before and crept over to the slot. She grabbed the items carefully, but never took her eyes off of mine. Clutching the items to her chest, she confused me as she narrowed her eyes. I hit the '3' and kept her gaze as it sealed shut.
"How?" She whispered. I watched her softly and furrowed my eyebrows as I waited for her to go on. "How did you know these things?" Her tone became a little more harsh as her grip became angrier on the arm full of belongings.
"I know you." I almost pleaded.
"No." She declined immediately and turned her back to me.
"Yes, I do." I said with a more stern voice.
"No, you don't." She seethed.
Her anger was fuelling mine, even if I didn't want it to. My fists slowly clenched at my sides as I stared at the back of her head.
"I know who you are even if you don't." I spoke.
"You don't know anything." She growled.
"And you know me-"
"I don't know who you are!" She screamed. I expected her to pound her fist on the glass, to keep screaming, to injure herself in a rage, anything except what she was doing now. Her hands clasped over her mouth as she let out a sob, her back still to me.
I could feel the trance of her anger disappear quickly, and all that was left was the feeling of being lost. My face fell from the sneer I didn't know it was in, to a deep and sad frown. I didn't want to set her off, I didn't want to make her cry.
"I'm sorry." I sighed and fell back into my spot against the wall. "I didn't mean to be so angry. If you don't know me, you don't know me. But... you used to." I sighed again but this time with defeat.
She peered over her shoulder and we made eye contact before both averting the gaze. I couldn't feel anything anymore, I didn't know what she was feeling, not until she spoke.
"Please go away."
