Peter
"Woah, not that much!" I laughed as Tony's tipsy pour overflowed the glass I was holding.
"It's fine, it's fine. There's plenty." He spoke back with a goofy smile and did the exact same to the glass in my other hand. I cringed through a smile as the sticky drink dripped down my fingers.
"Not happening." Bruce laughed and took the bottle from Tony before he could make a bigger mess. "I'll pour my own." The two of them went on to chuckle but my smile fell from my face. I whipped around on my feet rapidly, the full to the brim drinks spilling once again, as all of my senses heightened drastically.
I turned to make sure Y/n was okay but felt my stomach lurch instantly as Pepper was already looking at us with worried eyes. Y/n was not where I left her.
"Tony?" Pepper called over as Vision suddenly keeled over in pain beside her. I furrowed my eyebrows at the scene and moved my line of sight as Pepper pointed across the room. Then I spotted her.
She was slowly making her way through an entire crowd of people who simply stepped out of her way or paid her no mind. She was staring straight ahead and I followed her gaze now to see what was holding her attention so captively. There was a girl, the usual photographer Tony hired, standing nearby a large commemoration display.
"Wait." I choked out to Bruce and Tony as I now looked between Y/n and Vision. "Something's happening..." Tony knitted his brows and followed my gaze, not hearing Pepper call for him before, and paid closer attention.
"How do you know?" He asked back.
"I can feel it." I muttered and stared across the room at her.
"What's going on?" He asked seriously as he walked over to Vision. I stayed in place despite Bruce also walking over, my eyes locked on Y/n as she froze her steps. Her fists were trembling from how hard she was clenching them.
"She is drawing power from the stone." Vision spoke through a pained breath. "I don't think she knows that's what she's doing."
"She just walked away. She didn't say anything." I could hear Pepper exasperate as she looked back and forth. Y/n began walking forwards again but this time, she was nearly stomping. Tony looked back at her before giving me a hard look. I nodded and began making my way through the crowd, desperate to get to the bottom of whatever was happening. She made it to the table before I got to her and stood menacingly behind the photographer, who was too busy fixing a bouquet of flowers to notice.
"Excuse me. Pardon me. If I could just get through here..." I spoke to each person as I basically shoved them. Within a split second, Y/n roughly grabbed the shirt collar of the girl and held her inches from her own, luckily covered, face. A handful of people gasped and whispered while others fell silent.
"Remember me?" Y/n growled in a nearly unrecognizable voice. The girl's eyes widened in fear and shock as Y/n raised her fist up to release a lifetime of bitterness into her teeth.
"Widower!" I yelled quickly. Without a second thought, I raised my own arm and shot a web at her fist, sticking her to a nearby ice sculpture of some famous statue, I had no idea what it was. The girl dropped to the ground harshly as she was forcefully let go.
Y/n whipped her head to me and I didn't have to see her face to know she was glaring underneath her mask. I ran the rest of the way over and helped the poor girl get to her feet.
"Widower?!" She shouted and scooted herself against me in fear. She was immediately shaking, eyes wide in terror as if she had prior knowledge of what Y/n was capable of. "Oh my god!"
