Chapter 11

"Guys let's go I need Pepsi before my system fails" Chris groans as he rushes us out the house.

"We're coming relax" I say as I walk up to him with Nick and Matt following behind me.

"Where Ash and Eriss?" Chris asks.

"They went down to the beach to have some quality gross couple time" Nick says with a disgusted look on his face.

"Whatever, let's go" Chris replies as we leave the house.

We walk to the gas station that's next to the house because Chris has a current dramatic need for Pepsi.

One we get inside Chris practically runs to the freezers to get a few cans of pepsi.

He instantly runs to the cashier and instantly checks out.

I laugh as I watch Nick take a picture on his film camera of Chris posing with his Pepsis on the counter.

"I've decided today is the day I'm gonna start taking pictures of you guys. I'm seriously slacking on my Instagram grind" Nick informs us all.

"Never say Instagram grind again" Matt rolls his eyes as he picks up a few cans of red bull.

"Matt no you are not having red bull" Chris shakes his head as he opens a can of Pepsi.

"Why not? I cant have an energy drink but you can have 3 cans of Pepsi?" He asks Chris.

"Whatever man, I'm not dealing with your over stimulated energy drink self. Red bull Matt is honestly terrifying" Chris throws his hands in the air as he walks outside to wait on us.

Matt smiles as Nick takes a picture of him with his red bull.

He goes and pays before we go get Chris outside.

We walk home as Chris downs 2 out of the 3 cans of Pepsi he bought.

Once we walk in the door we are bombarded by all of Granny Sue's cats charging at us. Nick lets out a high pitched scream at the sight of the cats charging for us.

"Shut the fuck up Nick" Matt glares at him.

"Matthew what is that vulgar language I just heard?" Granny Sue says as she turns the corner.

"Sorry Granny Sue" Matt looks at the floor in disappointment.

I notice Ash and Eriss having a gross couples moment as they watch the sunset on the back porch.

Chris notices too.

We both lock eyes before making the joint decision to ruin their moment because we are such good friends.

"GUYS NICK GOT HIT BY A CAR!" Chris exclaims. I glare at him because that is definitely not what I was going to say.

"What?!" They both yell as they turn around to look at us.

"Excuse you?!" Nick yells from the kitchen clearly stating that he did not get hit by a car.

I laugh as both their facial expressions drop knowing that Chris is pulling a bullshit prank.

"I hate you" Eriss mumbles towards Chris.

Everything goes silent for a moment before we hear Matt screaming at Nick.

"Nick what the fuck is wrong with you? you are not funny!"

"Uh oh" I whisper only loud enough for Chris to hear.

"The red bull hit his system" he whispers back.
The realisation hits us as we run out the back doors, past Ash and Eriss and down to the beach to hide from him.
