Chapter 7

Everybody sighs of relief when Matt pulls into Ash's driveway so we can use his fantastic pool to get rid of the negative energy school gave us.

"That was the worst day of my entire existence" Nick groans as we walk into the house and set our stuff down.

"I was close to punching Herbert Herbert in the face" Eriss mumbles as she pulls her bathing suit out her bag.

"Nobody is as bad as Glenda Glockenburg and Ekin Peking" Matt laughs

"Glockenburg what the fuck-?" Chris says with his eyes wide.

"That's an unfortunate name" Nick rolls his eyes before going into the bathroom to change.

Once we're all in our bathing suits we waste no time to run into the backyard and jump straight in the pool.

"Guys let's play mermaids" Nick says as he comes up from underwater

"Oh my god yeah" I reply with wide eyes.

"Umm..so maybe not" Chris laughs.

"What a fucking loser you are Christopher who wouldn't want to fantasise about having a fishy tail" Eriss laughs.

"Me. I don't want to fantasise about a fishy tail"

Chris mumbles before swimming away like a fish.

"He definitely has a wish for the fish" I laugh

"Oh my fucking god I'm leaving this friend group" Ash mumbles shaking his head.

"Chicken fight?" Eriss suggests.

"Yes!" Chris screams from the other side of the pool. He aggressively kicks his feet to swim over to us and instantly shoves Nick underwater to get on his shoulders.

"What the fuck Chris?!" Nick yells as Eriss gets on Ash's shoulders and I get on Matt's.

"I'm putting a lot of trust in you right now Matthew" I hit his head before Chris counts down for us to start.

"3..2..1..attack" he yells as we start pushing each other.

"You're going down pissy chrissy" I mumble as I begin pushing his shoulders.

Chris manages to push Eriss off of Ash's shoulders so it's against the two of us.

"Why won't you fucking fall?" Chris asks as he shoves me.

"Because I'm better than that" I laugh.

He suddenly pushes me head to the side which causes me to fall off of Matt and into the pool which is all fun and games until my ankle hits the floor of the pool and I hear a snap.

"Fuck" I squint my eyes as I come up from under the water.

I grab my ankle and furrow my eyebrows in pain.

"Shit what happened?" Nick asks, looking at my frustrated state.

"My ankle hit the bottom of the pool and I heard it fucking snap" I whine.

"Fuck Scarlett are you alright?" Eriss asks me.

"I think I'm fine I don't know"

"Shit are you okay? Was it my fault? God Im so sorry Scar" Chris sympathises for me which I appreciate but can't focus on due to the throbbing pain my ankle is going through.

"Chris your're okay it wasn't your fault" I glance at him.

"Can you walk?" Ash Asks me with a worried look.

I put my foot down and try and put weight on it but instantly wince in pain and take it right back off the ground.

"Do you wanna go to the ER?" Matt asks me.
