Chapter 14

"Ms. Peters?" I hear Ekin Pekin or whatever the fuck her name is say my name and wake me up. I then hear the silent sounds of Matt's laugh. I bring me head off my desk and look up at her. "Do you need to go to the nurse?"

"No I'm fine" I glare at her as she walks away.

Matt softly laughs at me.

"It's not my fault I'm exhausted. We got home at 3 in the morning and had to wake up 3 hours later" I roll my eyes at him.

"Someone's cranky" He laughs.

"Die" I whisper before putting my head back down.

"Ms. Peters I'm going to need you to sit up and pay attention now because I'm introducing a new project" Pekin announces to me. I raise my head and glare at her. I'm about ready to peck my eyes out.

She clears her throat before continuing. "We will be beginning a new parter project" She says. Matt and I instantly lock eyes with eachother like were in middle school.

I raise my hand.

"What is it Ms. Peters?"

"Can we choose our own partners?"

"Yes you may" She rolls her eyes. "Your project is going to be a presentation on your favorite moment in history. It is due on friday and presentations begin on friday as well. You now may partner up and discuss which history event you want to do"

Matt and I turn to each other.

"Let's do dunkirk" I say to him.

"What the fuck why?" He looks shocked.

"Because Harry styles is in that movie" I laugh.

"Oh my fucking god, fine" He agrees, shaking his head.

"We're gonna win"

"It's not a competition scar" He rolls his eyes.

"It is now"

"Let's fucking go I need a nap right now" Chris groans as Matt and I approach the group at the front doors of the school.

"We're coming calm the fuck down" I glare at him as we leave the school.

We walk to the car and as soon as we get in we make the joint decision to go get coffee to re charge our systems.

"Out my way" Eriss pushes us out the way as we get to the closest coffee shop.

She sprints into the shop as we all glare at her with judgemental looks.

We order coffee and sit down right away while we wait on it.

"Remind me to never take a red eye flight again" I mumble.

"Agreed" Nick groans.

"Scarlett give me your phone" Chris says as he sticks his hand out in my face.

"Why?"

"So I can call your grandma, I miss her"

"Chris it's been less than 24 hours since you've seen her" I mumble to him.

"So?" He shrugs. I dont have the energy to deal with Chris' bullshit right now so I sigh before giving him my phone.

He finds her contact and instantly calls her. He places the phone to his ear, egar for her to answer.

"Hello?"

"Granny Sue guess who it is" He smiles.

"Christopher?!" She screeches.

"Yes mamn"

"Aw my favorite grand child. I've missed you so much. The cats haven't been the same without you being around"

"Tell the cats I say hello" he laughs.

"Oh I will, I told all of my gal pals about you Matthew and Nicolas' tube you channel. We watched a video together and they enjoyed it very much. Brought out a lot of laughs"

"That's amazing" Chris laughs.

"Tell them to subscribe" Nick yells into the phone.

"Was that Nicolas? Tell him I say Hello, Matthew too"

"Yeah it was"

"Hello" Nick and Matt both say.

"Hello boys" She laughs. "Are the happy couple Ashton and Eriss about? I would like to say hello to them as well"

"Yeah they're right here" Chris says as he puts the phone up to them.

"Hi granny Sue" They laugh into the phone.

"Hello you two? When's the wedding date do you know yet?" She laughs.

"We're not sure but we will let you know when we do" Eriss informs her.

"Oh how lovely" She giggles. "Where's my grandbaby?"

"Hi Grandma" I mumble into the phone.

"Oh you sound exhausted sweetie try and get some sleep"

"Oh believe me I tried. But that smug pecky bitch woke me up" I roll my eyes as Matt laughs at my comment.

"Language Scarlett!"

"Sorry" I laugh.

The barista calls out that our order is ready which makes us all look in the direction of the pickup counter displaying 6 perfect caffeine filled drinks.

"Hey Granny Sue we gotta get going but it was so nice talking to you, I miss you"

"Alright speak to you all soon, bye!"

"Bye" Chris says as he hangs up and gives me back my phone.

We go grab our drinks and get the fuck out of there. We get in the car and Matt drops us home as fast as possible without speeding so we can go take fat ass naps.
