Chapter 8

I walk into first period english and I'm greeted with Ash and Eriss smiling at me as I enter the room.

"What are you so happy for?" I ask them as I sit down at the table.

"Nothing it's just a nice day" Ash grins.

"What the fuck is going on you seem suspicious" I squint my eyes trying to read them.

"Ash told me he loves me for the first time last night and we're both very happy people" Eriss laughs like it's no big deal.

They've only been dating for a few months but it feels like a lifetime. They've always had an eye for each other since middle school so hearing this information is like a huge deal for me.

"Stop no way" my jaw drops. "Im so happy for you" I whisper shout.

"Okay it's not like we're engaged" Ash rolls his eyes with a smile.

"Not engaged yet. That's the next step" I laugh.
Eriss rolls her eyes as we hear Herbert Herbert clear his throat.

"Can we begin class or are you still chatting?" He asks us as everyone turns their heads to face us.

"Sorry Mr. Herbert" Ash quickly says as he begins teaching.

"Have you told the triplets yet?" I whisper.

Herbert Herbert may have interrupted us but I am not done with my conversation.

I practically played match maker in 6th grade to get these two together. When they told me they were finally a couple a few months ago I basically lost my fucking mind, so hearing that they finally told each other the big 3 words it's way more important than whatever essay Herbert Herbert is trying to assign me right now.

"No we haven't told them yet, we'll tell them in study hall" Eriss replies.

"I'm so happy oh my god" I smile as I hear this disgrace of a man clear his throat again.

"Ms. Peters do I need to send you to the office for being disruptive?" Herbert Herbert raises his eyebrows in my direction.

"No sir. My apologies Herbert" I smile and wave him off to keep teaching.

As soon as he turns back to the whiteboard I roll my eyes at him. He really is a grump of a man.

The bell rings and we waste no time getting the fuck out that dusty classroom. We rush to the library to get as much free time as we possibly can.

As usual Matt is the first one in the Library, waiting at our usual spot for us to join him.

"Big mega exciting news" I smile at him as I turn around and face Eriss and Ash walking in behind me.

"What is it?" He asks in suspense.

There is a dramatic pause which is pissing me off more than anyone.

"Are you gonna tell him or what?" I ask
them.

"You tell them Scar" Ash gives me the go ahead.

"They finally said I love you to each other" I smile getting all jittery at the thought of it.

"What no way really?" Matt smiles at them.

"Yes really" Eriss grins.

"Yes really what?" Chris asks as him and Nick walk up to us.

"They said I love you" I point at Eriss and Ash as they are shaking their heads in disgrace.

"Finally oh my god" Nick smiles at them as we all sit down.
