Chapter 36

It's been 2 days.

2 days without seeing or hearing from matt.

I knew the bitch would ignore me.

I can't go any longer without seeing him. This is painful.

I pull out my phone and decide to text Nick, I need somebody to talk to.

(texts)

I slam my phone down and pull my room together. I take all my dishes downstairs before I hear a knock at the front door.

"That was fast" I say as I let Nick and Chris inside.

"We got here as fast as we could. We are glad you asked us to come over" Nick explains.

"Why what happened?" I ask as we begin heading up to my room.

"Matt has gone feral we needed an escape" Chris emphasizes his words with wide eyes.

"Good, that's what he gets for ignoring me and making me feel like dog shit" I sigh as I close my bedroom door behind me.

"What even happened?" Chris asks as we all sit down on my bed.

"Eriss and I walked to CVS and we saw that Landon guy we met in LA who is like obsessed with me" I begin

"Oh god, he was like in love with you" Nick shakes his head already knowing where this is going.

"Wait why is he in boston?" Chris asks

"He was visiting his dead uncle or something I don't really know" I shrug before continuing, "Well he asked me if I want to hang out with him to 'catch up' and I told him no because I am kind of seeing someone and he was like all pissed off about it and then he left and then Eriss and I went back to her house. Then I went over to your guys' house and while I was asleep during the end of the movie Landon text me and was like 'it was nice seeing you today' or something and Matt saw"

"Oh god no" Chris shakes his head mentally preparing himself for the next part.

"He thought I was hanging out with Landon and he got pissed at me and I tried to explain but he wouldn't hear me out. And then he asked if the only reason I didn't hang out with him was because it would hurt his feelings and I told him no it's because I want to be with him and not landon and then I guess that went right over his head because then he said 'I don't understand your intentions with you and me' and I was like what the fuck and then the bitch asked me to leave" I take a deep breath after all of that.

"HE ASKED YOU TO LEAVE?!" Nick yells

"Yeah" I sigh

"WHAT THE FUCK MATT" Chris raises his voice as well.

"IS HE A FUCKING IDIOT?!" Nick continues yelling

"Yes." I confirm

"Hey what the fuck is going on in here?" Ethan asks as he barges in my bedroom

"Why are you here? Go to college isn't that what you're supposed to be doing in Boston anyway?" I ask him as I watch Nick re adjust his position due to Ethan's presence.

"Shut the fuck up, I heard yelling" Ethan explains

"Our brother is being a dick to Scarlett" Nick explains the context of the yelling.

"Do I need to beat him up?" Ethan asks

"Please do, it would do us all a favor" Chris shrugs

"Don't beat him up Ethan he just needs time" I explain

"Time my ass, Matt is being a total bitch bag and need to be put in his place" Chris says like I'm stupid for defending Matt.

"Ew whatever" Ethan sighs as he leaves the room.

"You should totally give me his number scar" Nick smirks

"Not the time and place Nick" Chris flashes him a 'what the fuck' look.

"Whatever" Nick rolls his eyes. "Wait I have an idea" Nick's eyes light up

"What?" I sigh, I'll honestly take anything at this point.

"Just give him three days. Wait three days, no texts no calls, no nothing. Then see if he comes back" He explains.

"What if I can't wait three days though?"

"You see the thing is, you keep running back to him and he gets off on it. He knows he's gonna have you coming back to him. Why not give him three days and make him realise 'oh this is serious, I fucked up and now I'm really losing her'" Nick continues

"What if he doesn't even come back?" I ask

"Then why would you wanna be with someone that doesn't want you? Why would you wanna be with someone like that?" Nick twists back my own question.

"Because I'm not sure I will be able to want anyone else the way I want him" I sigh

"Ew gross" Chris chimes in causing Nick and I to glare at him.

"Just try it out Scar, trust me" Nick says

I hesitantly nod before out loud groaning over this whole situation.

This is his fault.

I hate Matt Sturniolo.
